Was at Macc Vs Tranmere today. Macc started terribly just hoofing the ball up as soon as they got it but after about half an hour they suddenly started playing it on the ground and actually played some good football. Ended up with a well deserved 1-1 draw. So Campbell does seem to be having an influence. A vital point especially with both Notts Co and Cambridge losing.
Campbell is still a fucking **** though
Oh and spurs should absolutely smash Tranmere. They're shite. Couldn't even beet Macc Town FFS ;-)

I kinda hope they stay up. It was a 'brave' decision by Macclesfield to hire him, and I was surprised that a guy with such an ego took on the job. I know that it was unlikely anyone further up was gonna hire him but he said he wanted an opportunity and has taken it. Not many former 'stars' are going to start so low.
I'm kinda feeling old cos I remember when we loved Sol and he was our Captain. He used to get interviewed on tv and I still cringe at the thought of the number of times he'd say 'you know' after almost every sentence, you know. It blew my mind, you know. Our Captain was, you know, on tv, you know, talking football, you know. It was always a tough watch, you know.
Since he left I've avoided listening to him. So, does anyone, you know, know if he has, you know, stopped this little quirk of speech? I remember he had a posh girlfriend so I assume it was drilled out of him. His team talks would, you know, drive me insane, you know, if he still says it. You know!
