One of those unfortunate signings that really didn't end up benefitting player or club. Sadly, he just wasn't the right fit here for a number or reasons. Really think he'll find more success back in Spain. Best of luck, Bobby.

There's less quotes in this article than there are females in a smurf village. However this does (if true) leave us the very real problem of having 1 recognised striker in our squad, surely any team we approach between now and the end of the window can name their price as we desperately need some attacking options and everyone will know it.

A real shame that it didn't work for him or us. Hope he has a better time in Spain. Importantly frees up wages for another striker, and let's hope Ade follows him out of the door soon.

I suspect Njie is sorted, all bar the shouting. One or two others may also be quite well advanced.

Erik Lamela has potentially let slip Roberto Soldado's departure from Tottenham Hotspur in a tweet that he quickly deleted.

Along with a picture of himself with Soldado, Lamela wrote: "I enjoyed these two years that we shared, I wish you well in your new club. Good luck my friend!" "

Otherwise if something happens to kane we'll have nobody ,well except Chadli to play up front

So looks true but guessing club wanted hush hush for now

Yeah, if the club have definitely let Bobby go, says to me that at least one of our striker targets is as nailed on as it can be. Suspect we'll see news by the end of the week once they've had time to cross all the 't's and dot all the....

...lower case 'j's

Good luck Bobby. This move should help him rekindle his goalscoring form which made Spurs sign him originally.
Just a pity it didn't work out in the PL.

Absolutely not. I'm a knob. And a lower case one at that.
I first read his name as Nije. Which I quite like. In a stupid kind of way.

We should follow Lamela more carefully to know exactly what is going on. I mean, stalk him with intensity. Anyone he visits, says hello to or texts is leaving. He is the angel of death.

Possibly one the best players not to have made it at Spurs.
Inexplicable really as he had plenty of skills
clearly a football brain and good touch
but at the crucial moments that goal instinct
which he exhibited elsewhere completely deserted him.
Was it the club, the new environment, the Premiership,
Personal confidence? None or all of the above
I can't really explain it
Good luck Soldier boy I will follow your career with interest.

Nice guy, clearly wanted to succeed for us, but £ for £, he must be the worst signing in Spurs history. Above Veron, and behind Torres and Shevchenko in Premier league terms.

Such a shame. Never have I (....or we) loved such a 'flop' of a player. I don't mean that badly, I wanted him to succeed so much but it just wasn't to be.
If the Villarreal move is legit, then I honestly believe he'll smash it there - Good Luck Soldier, a true professional!!
