I still get that feeling that he will at some point score a bucket load, but not until that hunger and confidence come back to him.

I think many of us feel this way and he could in theory play till 36 As he's a slow'un anyway.

If this is true I will be very happy. Have no idea why but Bobby has the potential to become my favourite Spurs player. I can't help but feel that at any minute he will start scoring for fun.

I believe that he is very popular among the players and he shows glimpses of talent with his little flicks but obviously is having a crisis of confidence in front of goal. He looks like a Spurs player and I so hope he clicks in front of goal soon.

I think he has the hunger, he is on his third manager in less than two seasons let's not forget. Him andHarry could become very very potent together IMHO.

Whoa, is this SC site? 3 comments that are not negative. I think I'm going to faint.

I really hope he comes good. Was a favourite player of mine in Spain. Quality attitude in a sinking ship. Just been one thing or another for him at WHL.

Levy must have been over-paying and treating everybody very well. Nobody ever wants to leave with the exception of Bale and Modric.

Like others, I think Kane and Soldado could make a great strike pair. Soldado just needs a goal or two, (he almost did it tonight), and his confidence will soar and we will get the player we thought we had when he first arrived.

... I still think he'll come good. The Spanish Sheringham ...he'll get a brace soon and just wait : ) .. Either way I still like Soldados and Lamelas attitude.

Thought he had a good game tonight, showed a lot of fight and presence and more energy.

3 managers over his 47 games haven't helped this includes subs appearances and has 13 goals. 1 in 3.6. Or if you look at it as 13 in 37 starts it's 1 in 2.8 games which is better than one in 3. Not bad for a player well off his top game and heralded as a huge flop.

I have a good feeling about Kane and Soldado coming good together up front.

I think Soldado will start to score regularly, and Kane will benefit from Soldado's link up play. Can see goals, good link up, and smiles with these two.

He had four genuine chances tonight and missed everyone. Though he may be loved, he's paid to score goals and that just isn't happening. Under one manager you could say he's unlucky but he's now played for three and still firing blanks.

I love the guy's effort and passion but at the end of the day the Club pays for him to score goals and for whatever reason he ain't delivering. I cannot see any other club coming in for him unless Levy cuts his losses, but for sure i just feel that for whatever reason he just cannot produce the goods at this level.

Saying that "he will come good" is all well and good but even the most avid Soldado fan must surely see that the magic he had in Spain, stayed in Spain.

Putting the sitters he keeps missing aside, he often looks a bit better in the EL games where the standard of opposition is usually poorer than the PL. However, the PL is our bread and butter and I concluded a while ago that whilst technically sound, he just doesn't seem to have the full package of attributes required to thrive in this league especially the lung busting pressing game that Poch wants us to play.

I know everyone wants him to do well me included but I just can't see it hence my lack of optimism compared to other views above. Watching him and Aguero on the same pitch in the City game highlighted his deficiencies in this league and I don't think it is realistic to expect a sudden transformation especially from a player his age.....

If the rest of the team suffer, the striker suffers. No matter who it is. If he's playing better in the Europa it's maybe because the midfield have more freedom to help him out.

As a long time fan like to be glass half full. We are still developing, still working on combinations under match pressure. As many have said he is looking more likely. Please Santa. COYS.

...it depends, if hes just missing, inches wide.. hitting the woodwork etc but still finding spaces...then that is just a matter of form ..if hes doing nothing like that and blazing over all the time of being bullied out of the game id be more worried. I think he can do this...,just a slow starter, ive seen enough of his creative movement to see this. I know its frustrating for us all and ive been guilty of saying .."how did he miss that!".. but i still think he will get there.
