More a very good save than a miss. Thought Hart was almost as good as Hugo yesterday.
Soldier on Bobby.

Problem with Soldado (and Lamela) is that he is a wonderfully technical player who thrives at a less physical league such as the Spanish and Italian. But against better sides in the EPL, he will be frustrating to watch as he doesn't have the power or the acceleration of a Aguero. I think Baldini didn't have the proper understanding of our league when he made all those purchases at the beginning of last season.

Hang on. Baldini didn't understand the league? The same Baldini who was assistant england manager? That Baldini?

Only thing I'd say is he needs to vary where he places his pens.
The BT Sport graphic showed the majority (4 out of 5 I think) were aimed low and left. Keepers these days study opponents so it wouldn't surprise me if Hart knew this.

Ok, I'm starting to feel sorry for the poor bloke now.

Problem for Soldado is in this league, he needs a strike partner. His all round game is quality and he's actually one of the best passers of the ball in our entire squad, but as the lone striker in our system his main job is to provide a focal point, occupy defenders, attack the box and score goals.

Despite all this, he deserves a run of games, even though in the long term I don't think he's the answer.

Maybe Levy and Lewis should apologize to the fans instead for failing to address our attacking deficiencies.

Soldado must love playing for Spurs. He can be as rubbish as he likes and the fans still love him. It's hilarious to watch.

So what were you doing between 12:45 and 2:30 on Saturday? Because you obviously weren't watching the game.

No need to apologise Nobby. There's plenty of forum fans apologising for you.

It was interesting that everyone at the game seemed to be chastising Soldado for being shit, come on this forum and apparently he was great.

Woeful player.

He won the penalty himself, so there's really no need to apologise for missing it. Absolutely awful pen it was though...

It was near to the corner of the goal and on target. I've seen much, much worse than that e.g. Ade v Basel

Come on, that's a bit harsh.

The real culprits are those that identified the wrong type of striker to spend the Bale money on.

Need to drop the agenda dude, makes you look bad. If you genuinely don't think he played well then I can't help you. Him and Eriksen were responsible for pretty much all the good parts of our attack.

I thought it was an ok pen to be fair. Hart was outstretched and just got a hand to it. Not too many goalies would have got there.

There wasn't an agenda before, but there is now. I've completely lost any patience I had with him. 2 goals from open play and now he's not even scoring pens.

Crap.

Its a team game. If Soldado can play and get assists for goals then it doesn't matter who's scoring them does it?

Of course it matters. Isn't that why Ade was called to be dropped on this forum? Despite having a proven goalscoring record in our colours and despite working hard to set up a couple.

No, his lack of discipline up front and constant running on the wings was having a negative effect on the shape of the team and using up the space for the wingers to run into

Yeah, it was terrible what he did against Southampton.

Adebayor running to the channels has benefitted Chadli in getting in the middle.

Not really. Ade is a comfortable player and will do what is comfortable. Soldado eye for a pass is miles ahead of Ade.
