Problem with Soldado (and Lamela) is that he is a wonderfully technical player who thrives at a less physical league such as the Spanish and Italian. But against better sides in the EPL, he will be frustrating to watch as he doesn't have the power or the acceleration of a Aguero. I think Baldini didn't have the proper understanding of our league when he made all those purchases at the beginning of last season.
No wonder England has done so, so poorly.Hang on. Baldini didn't understand the league? The same Baldini who was assistant england manager? That Baldini?
Soldado must love playing for Spurs. He can be as rubbish as he likes and the fans still love him. It's hilarious to watch.
He won the penalty himself, so there's really no need to apologise for missing it. Absolutely awful pen it was though...
No need to apologise Nobby. There's plenty of forum fans apologising for you.
It was interesting that everyone at the game seemed to be chastising Soldado for being shit, come on this forum and apparently he was great.
Woeful player.

It was near to the corner of the goal and on target. I've seen much, much worse than that e.g. Ade v Basel
Need to drop the agenda dude, makes you look bad. If you genuinely don't think he played well then I can't help you. Him and Eriksen were responsible for pretty much all the good parts of our attack.
There wasn't an agenda before, but there is now. I've completely lost any patience I had with him. 2 goals from open play and now he's not even scoring pens.
Crap.
Its a team game. If Soldado can play and get assists for goals then it doesn't matter who's scoring them does it?
Of course it matters. Isn't that why Ade was called to be dropped on this forum? Despite having a proven goalscoring record in our colours and despite working hard to set up a couple.
No, his lack of discipline up front and constant running on the wings was having a negative effect on the shape of the team and using up the space for the wingers to run into
