Commolli has decided to let Ramos come up with the names for the first 2 transfer windows.

The Arshavin deal is a no no.

Ramos wants Poulsen as his first signing.

from Archibald on Spurs Odyssey.

I promised myself I'd stay away from this stuff. Goddammit!

Poulson seems to be a good player, but also seems to be a right ****, who is only a second from a red card at any moment.

Still, he's the kind of player we need right now.

Yea Poulsen played the kind of game that we need at the moment so seems a pretty useful signing

Yeah, he is the defensive minded midfielder we need right now. Watched the Sevilla vs Valencia match and thought Keita looks good too. Not sure about his position though.

The ITK makes perfect sense to me. Poulsen was one of the first names on Ramos' teamsheet for Sevilla, and it's obvious we need a no-nonsense CM hardman far more than we need another RB (Alves) or striker (Kanoute). Poulsen wouldn't be a "glamour" signing, but he would give us much needed strength in CM and is exactly the type of player we don't have in our squad.

Equally, judging by the Russia-England game, Arshavin is clever but lightweight, and more of a Number 10 than a hug-the-touchline wide lefty. So, again I wouldn't be at all surprized if Juande has struck Arshavin off Commoli's list.

I agree. Poulsen looks like he's the type of player we don't have and one we need, whereas I don't think we need another right back or any more strikers.

Didnt know about him but liked what I just saw. Someone in the midfield to win the ball, break up the opposition's play and start the attacks. He seemed to read the game well :hump:

I love it, the guy is a fucking horrible bastard in the Barton/Savage vein but all of a sudden everyone wants him.

Laughable

Yeah right. The first sentence is ridiculous. Can you imagine Comolli giving up power? What happens after the first year, they suddenly transfer control away from Ramos? Blatently we will stick with the '4 man transfer commitee'.

Oh and Poulsen will cost us an absolute packet, Sevilla won't let him move to us.

That's because it's what we've always lacked. No one likes them, but to do well you need a **** like it in your midfield.

Like when we had Tarricco, who was awesome because he was a cheating bastard!

I don't think anyone's in the same League as Barton. And to be honest, every team that Savage has played for, his fans have loved him because he gives his all.

Yeah he's a first class tosser of a prick, but he gets stuck in for the team. I used to work with a Rovers supporter who used to absolutely hate him. After he signed for them, I'd even say it was as quickly as 2/3 weeks - he was singing his praises.

Nobody likes him, do you think he cares?

The soft namby-pamby midfield we have is crying out for that sort of player, and if you can't see it, there's only one thing that's laughable here.
