hi, i was just down the pub and started talking to some blokes about football, turns out 1 was a season ticket holder at our beloved spurs. anyway he said that he was told that in jan we're gonna offer everton cash (not sure how much) + jenas for arteta.

not to sure if it's true, he might be putting 2+2 (ramos and arteta being spanish, and jenas linked wit everton in the summer) together and making it up or it could be genuine

geuss we'll have to wait and see, just thought i'd share it with you guys

Nice as it'd be, Arteta doesn't really fit in with how Ramos plays. 2 defensive minded midfielders and 2 wingers, Arteta is neither. Cracking player though...

Theres no way on earth Everton would sell us Arteta and no way he'd want to come anyway. Moyes is a good manager and theres no way he'd be crazy enough to a) sell their best midfielder b) sign our worst midfielder

arteta plays wide for everton has license to drift inside altho he does a cracking job on the wing. watch everton and arteta will b involvd majorly in almost 80% of the goals they score. I would seriously love it if we swapped a few mil + jermainus for arteta, dont see everton being that stupid esp nw cahill is fit

Btw I remmeber you mentioning Koumas as a good player we should be looking at. I've seen him 3 times now this season and he's easily good enough for us, or at least as good or better than what we currently have (I don't know if that is actually good enough for us). How has his career turned out so that he's played for so many shit teams?

if being a season ticket holder is in the know then - i'm suprised - arteta is class playing for a relatively successful team why would he join us? No mate we are looking for new blood here!

I saw a match I think against Czech Republic where he was excellent. It's the only time I got to see him and immediately knew he is a classy player. Great free kick specialist aswell.

But he's 28 so Levy would prefer to slash his own wrists rather than paying whatever amount for a 28 year old.

His career has turned out the way it has because as good as he is controlling the game in the middle, he doesn't like the rough stuff. A few hard challenges on him and he goes missing.

As a wales fan and Cardiff city being my second team iv seen Koumas plenty of times and he's such an infuriating player, has so much ability but just doesnt have the desire or commitment to be a top player.

Well let me tell you, I'm a season ticket holder and I heard...

Just because I pay £800 a year to sit in the same crappy obscured view seat it doesn't give me any insider knowledge whatsoever. Now take what I say with a pinch of salt, because it's third hand information, but I thought you ought to know.

I was talking to Dougal the other day, turns out he's a season ticket holder at our beloved spurs. He knows fuck all about who we plan to sign in Jan.

Thats it really. Nothing else left to say.
