That's cool, for you. Steffen Freund definitely does not feature on that list.

It's nothing to do with his playing days, it's how he has been since he finished. Ask him which team he supports and it's Spurs! Ask him which team his children have been made to support and it's us aswell. Along with Ossie he as been completely brainwashed into being lillywhite to the core, and you will struggle to find a former player who speaks higher of the club than Steffan does.

I met Freud at Wembley before the caring cup final when United beat us on penalties.
I was rather drunk and a bit wobbly and he was right behind me in the que. as I turned round and saw him I bellowed sshhooooottt. Then a few other fans noticed and started shouting ssshhhooooootttt. At the end even Steffan and who I presume were his kids started shouting ssshhhooooootttt. He looked so proud and had a beaming smile.
A wonderful memory

From Hertyid on COYS:
In no particular order....

Paxton will be coming down mid-season. That's why ST renewals not happened yet. Announcement coming in the next fortnight.

It'll be a strange atmosphere at White Hart Lane next season, that's for sure. Worth it to get a state of the art new stadium, of course.

Wembley is almost done. They can host all our games in 17/18 so long as they shut top tier and have max capacity 50k.

I'm glad we're not going to StadiumMK. It's a nice stadium, but it's too small and not in London. I just hope Wembley sounds alright when there's only 50k in there.

Every club is going through the West Ham deal with their lawyers but unlikely anything comes of it.

No surprises here. The deal gives West Ham an unfair advantage, but it is legal.

Nike deal is done.

After some of the UnderArmour kits - last season's home kit, for example - I can't say I'll miss them too much.

Ousmane Dembele - we think we are front of the queue. I know very little about him. I actually thought my guy was talking about Moussa 2 for the first 30 seconds.

Great news. He's a brilliant, young, and exciting player, and exactly the kind we should be signing if we want to move on to the next level.

Less boxes in the new WHL, all the emphasis is on corporate areas. Aka Club Level. We sent our commercial dept to the Allianz for a fact finding mission and we are using this as a base for a lot of the new stadium ideas.

The Allianz is a good model to use.

Son and Wimmer are best mates. Son won an Asian footballer of the year award this year and took Wimmer as his date.

It must be love, love, looove. Also, I saw a picture a while back of Jan in Toby's #4 shorts - any explanation for this?

Ledley King is an absolute legend. So is Ossie. But number one Spurs legend is Steffen Freund.

Matter of opinion, no?

There is no way anyone at Spurs leaves this summer, unless Poch wants them gone.

As I expected. There's such a good togetherness at the club, why on earth would anyone want to leave? Although I expect Eriksen to go to Barca in a few years, if he progresses very well.

The club have faith in Son, but are unsure on Clinton
.

Such an odd signing.

Does anyone really believe the ITK stuff? its usually guesswork and the most likely scenarios passed off as info. Just look at the transfer ITK page for proof.

Yes we probably will have Nike in 17/18 and yes the Paxton will most likely be knocked down during the season, but 'Hertyid' doesn't know that any better than we already do.

Don't ITKs have to verify themselves with the mods or something like that?

Thank you. Almost every reliable newspaper is saying he has signed for Dortmund, there has been a lot of smoke you don't have to be ITK to know he will sign with them soon.

I'm not saying he won't either but it's hardly unknown in these days of shite journalism for papers to print or put on their webpage a story that is being originally reported from just one source. Maybe he will, maybe the original story wasn't completely accurate, maybe he was going to and something changed his mind. As we saw with Willian nothing is 100% until his signature is on the contract.

Im sure @Archibald&Crooks can help you not look at those pages if its just 'guesswork'

You'd think we might have learned our lesson in regards to taking a patient approach with young footballers we bring in. Nah, fuck it, Clinton sucks!

Like the same people who claimed Wimmer must be garbage because he wasn't getting minutes prior to Jans injury, or Lamela who is now one of our key players or even our own Danny Rose.

If our coaches don't think he's good enough that's one thing, but our fans writing off players before they get a fair shot is so old and stupid. He was Always going to be a player that needed time.

Clinton has been injured the majority of the season and barely started prior to that. How can you justify writing him off????

If the news about Ousmanne Dembele is true and does eventuate, I can understand the choice of Michy over Lazacatte. Dembele is similar to Lacazette, but younger and more raw. Hence not having 2 of the same type of wide forwards. Exciting times if (and a big if) we are near these kinds of players.

O.Dembele is nothing like Lacazette.

Just had a gander at some O. Dembele highlights on YouTube. Looks a future ballon d'or winner to me. Will be a massive upgrade on what we have at the moment in terms of wide forwards. Hopefully Poch's track record with youth will help us get him.
