i love the optimism and I am 100% behind the team in knowing we are progressing into top 4 challengers.

but to say we are gonna win the league in the next 3 or 5 years is a bit pre-emptive when you consider that a club like arsenal where were light years ahead of us havent been close to winning it until this year for the past 5 seasons.

I guess we have a long way to go but the good thing is we are catching up faster than they can move ahead of us

A very nice read, makes me feel very optimistic of course but as a spurs fan I (we) have that built in doubt in my head that it will all go tits-up when we 'dare to dream'. And speaking of the phrase 'daring to dream' that is precisely what you have done at the end of you're post because for a spurs fan it is BRAVE to say what you say at the end. Brave because we are used to getting egg in our faces and have seen too many false dawns.

So while it might be a 'little' premature to talk with such predictions (although I applaud you for it), it is truly a time where we should not be afraid to wonder where we can go with all of this. We are 95% of the way there and it is only another 5% extra that will turn us into champions. On the way to that there are two things I will be looking closely at to reassure me that we will get that extra 5% soon.

The first of those things is to improve our record against the top 4 clubs. We all know how dreadful it is, especially away from home (68 games without an away win now) and know it will be essential to success. It is solely down to belief and maturity and we will need both. This next 6 weeks will give us a perfect update to where we are in these terms.

The next thing is how we play in the high pressure games that we simply have to win when the world is expecting us to. The season defining games near the end where some weaker players mysteriously fail to perform and can't explain why. Tomorrow against Pompey, sunderland away and every game from now til the end of the season will test these players. Coping with pressure. Essential for champions.

I'm confident, but still too afraid to shout it out. Thankyou for doing it though sir :)

Young, talented and with depth. I don't think we'll have to buy too many players in the years to come. :hump:
