FFS!

It was a terrible challenge yet goes unpunished.
Was it though? I thought it was an accidental clash both jumping for a ball and Son happened to headbutt the guys shoulder (should note I’ve not seen it back so could be wrong)

I also haven't seen footage of the incident, but I'm sure I read somewhere that it was an accidental clash. If it had been intentional on the Marseille player's part, the Spurs players would have had something to say, but there was no mention of that. It's unfortunate, but sadly these things will happen from time to time in physical sports.

Mbemba also caught Kane with a flailing arm later in the match but I don't think either incident was deliberate from his part. He brought it about by just not being in control of his body and being late, with really unfortunate consequences.

He knew what he was doing.

I really don’t think there was an internet to cause harm. The both went for the ball and the guy jumped higher than Son. It’s more likely that Son clashed with the opponent. I feel for the guy as he really needed to keep playing to get back into form.

Unfortunate as the injury is. He needs a rest both physically and mentally. We all agree he has not been on his game this season.
Maybe a blessing in disguise.

I’m not sure missing the World Cup would do any player any good mentally.
I wasn’t talking about him missing the World Cup. I expect him to go and play unfortunately. He needs a break from football full stop. I cannot see him playing anymore games for us until December but with a mask maybe the Leeds game.

I don't believe he wanted to break any bones but I suspect he wanted to leave one on him.

I thought there was a rule about endangering your opponents.
