Tottenham forward Heung-Min Son has moved one game closer to a military service exemption, after helping South Korea reach the final at the Asian Games with a 3-1 win over Vietnam.

Only Japan stand in the way. . I would say Japan is the better team but hopefully the motivation to be exempt from military service is a bigger motivator

Edit. Just been reminded it's U23. Hopefully Son hammers them

Why would you say that the young Japanese team, not boosted by any stars, is better?

Bookies disagree and have South Korea as clear favourites.

Always find it ridiculous that you can have players over 23 in an under-23 tournament.
