No one wants to spend their money watching Stoke or Watford?

My neighbours are Watford season ticket holders.
Last day of season last year they were away at Brighton, and both went to the game.
It's a good 2 1/2 hour drive from where we live and, despite it being a 12.45 kick off, they left home at 10.30am.
Not only that, but 30 mins into the journey they realised they had left tickets at home.
They eventually got to the game as the 2nd half kicked off.

Relevance?! Nothing really..... except.....

Last night the bloke went to watch the game at Southampton.
7.45 kick off, and despite it being a 3 hour drive on a good day, he didn't factor in the M25 or M3 traffic midweek evening.
Left at around 5pm I believe, got there midway through 2nd half.... and they lost!!!

Perhaps the same thing happened to a few hundred long distance Saints. That would explain the empty seats.
