Obviously Murray will win but the fact Carl Frampton isn't in the top 16 and 2 dancing horse toffs are is a disgrace.

And no nomination for Danny Willett's brother. A thoroughly baffling omission.

Apparently winning the Tour de France is no longer worthy of a nomination. Chris Froome, Maro Itoje and Anthony Joshua are all more deserving of nomination than Racist Steptoe, but I guess after Fury last year they've decided to keep one nasty **** on the list each year.

How Itoje isn't on there is beyond me. And yes Froome's omission is a bit odd as well.

Mind you I don't have too many issues with those that have been nominated other than Vardy (not their best player, stopped scoring in the Summer etc) and Bale (the Wales effort was a team one).
