Vlad was shocking tonight..I can honestly say, looking at the money Baldini spent..I would not give him another window. None of them can justify there fees. Kane & Townsend were our best players. Without Loris we would have had our ass served to us tonight. 100 mil spent and we get played off the park.

"Second string" or not that was fucking woeful. I am struggling to see just where any improvement from last season is on the pitch in all honesty even from the players who are likely heading for the shopping mall come the Saints game.

I think 'pretty-average' would be a rather generous term for the way we played yesterday. The reticence to pass & move the ball with any great purpose, or pace was shocking. It started from the back with our defence taking way too many touches to find a midfielder. Bentaleb & Stambouli were both guilty as well of this, particularly in the 1st half, where i thought they could have been a little braver & quicker in their distribution.

The link-man, or men that we hoped we found once Modric left have never really lived up to the billing. Instead, as has been well documented, we have too-many of same type of player: safety-men who don't have the guile or craft to play the ball with the intention to attack. That has been the fault of previous coaches & unfortunately Pochettino is the one who is left to work with what tools are available to him. I imagine he's very grateful that someone like Mason is available to him, who at least looks like he wants to be that link-man. I wouldn't be surprised if he tries to move on Paulinho & Dembele in January & possibly bring Carroll back. If its possible, then i would.

Chiriches is a liability & i don't like admonishing players, but he really doesn't cut the mustard. Caught in possession numerous times; caught out of position too many times, its simply staggering how bad he was. Surely one of the under-21's defender's is better than he is?

Despite the negatives lets not forget this was pretty-much Besiktas' first-string team that came very close to knocking out Arsenal's 1st choice-eleven in the Champions League, so we're not playing mugs here, however apart from Kane i couldn't see any of the other irregulars give our Head-Coach something to worry about.

Let's put it behind us & move on to putting it right against the Saints.

Another very poor performance,just got no threat about us at all.Lucky to get the draw against a very good team who could have had at least 4 but for Loris,Ba was impressive & makes you wounder why we never went in for him.
Big mistake selling Defoe & loaning out Holtby aswell i think as we are pretty much toothless in attack.

I said after the West Brom game that Chiriches gave one of the worst individual performances I have ever seen in a Spurs shirt and he continued in exactly the same vein last night. Quite appalling. I do not want to see him in the team again. Play Vejkovic, or move Dier into the centre - anything would be better.

Why the fuck are we playing counter attack football aswell. We are Tottenham Hotspurs for god sake. Does the manager know anything about our history. In 40 years of looking at Spurs,ive never seen so many 2 Bob players in our midfield & defence and up front. If I was Loris I would leave in Jan. Baladini is a thief and should be sacked with on the spot. He should be charged with fraud,and his bank records siezed.. Everyone of those deals has kickback written all over them. And if anyone tells me Lamela will come good and all the other excuses they are deluded..30 mil for him and 25 Mil for Soldado, 9 for Vlad, 18 for bloody Paulinho who is awful..Sorry but Pav had more skill and ability that that mob. Seriously i can"t watch bro, there is no one in the team i look forward to seeing. Atleast in the recent past we had Modric,Bale,Berba or even The Hudd might do something. As for Poch, im not convinced he know what he is doin.Im not being knee jerk. I want him to do well. But fucking Fazio is terrible aswell. And to keep Vlad on when it was clear his head had gone is unforgivable. Got to say the days of Harry, seem like a past wonderful love that is now a distant memory..
