After last night lets hope the squad are now mentally up for the BIG Arsenal game.. We need to fight for every ball, pressure them for 90 mins.+ stoppage. If they can do that, and we win great stuff.. but should we loose doing this, then i can accept we went down fighting all the way..

It will probably be an entirely different team against the goons though.

While that keeps the players fresh some players need that constant involvement if we are to get the best from them, some players just need to play a lot of games to get into their rhythm.

Those players should be identified and given what they need, game time. This will breed more consistency.

He now needs to mix the two teams together to get our best starting 11 for the match against Arsenal. Defense looks better with the midweek team, but our midfield is stronger for the PL games, so time now to drop a few big names.

Yes, Paulhino to start with... he needs to regain his mojo... so when we start wining again, he will want to be in the team, so using this reverse psychology may work. If not, cos he can't he bothered, then sell him Jan window.

We were absolute shite again last night. Decent response but I don't see how that performance will make the fans or players more confident. There's something really wrong IMO

Reading those comments, he must have watched an entirely different game to me.

We didn't have a shot on target until the 70th minute.

At home to Nottingham Forest Reserves.

That can't be dressed up and spun into a positive.

It's going to be a long hard season, with little cheer if Poch cannot turn this side around reasonably quickly.

The 4-2-3-1 is not workable with this lost, wasn't under AVB because it is too slow moving forward and produces no genuine outlet for the lone striker.

Oh, and it's piss poor to watch.

I genuinely believe that Poch will get it right but i saw nothing different for seventy minutes last night than i did through most of AVB's reign and for much of this season so far.

For the Club to have spent so much money on players for so little return it's embarrassing.
