Any option to buy??

At least all these loan fees will recoup some of his transfer fee I suppose

In the games I've seen him play this year, I thought he would have been good to keep around for cover/backup.

I don’t think he’s hopeless either, but realistically he is nowhere near the match day squad once we have anything close to a full squad

In bigger games yes but i'm surprised he's not in contention other wise with amount of games we have and the inevitable injuries.

With sessignon joining i doubt it. If eriksen stays we have son, sess, lamela and eriksen that can play in the left am position.

Having a bigger squad leads to less injuries as you rotate more and reduce the workload. He made the bench against Villa because Dele, Son, Lo Celso and Sessegnon were all unavailable. With any luck we won’t be 4 players short again all season

Can’t disagree with that, however shit happens and going by our injury record of last season, I just think he would have been worth keeping around, especially to train with the squad

Apparently not a loan, they bought him.

The figures I heard for N'Koudou; 4 + 1 M Euro to club 2m euro 4 year contract with 1,650 bonuses to player 50 percent share from next sale.

Still surprised no one in France wanted him. Marseille, Rennes, Lille, etc. feel like he would have been decent depth for a team like that.

I'm not his biggest fan but I actually thought the same, even in that Villa game without doing much admittedly in the limited time he had I thought he looked sharp and could have been of use for some energy and spark in some matches.
In saying that though with Dele and Son to come back, Sessegnon to maybe feature in a wide forward area as well as Lo Celso being integrated in the team so he even more so may not have got a look in.

I think its safe to say we're at a stage where we know he'll be moved on eventually, I guess we have to sell him whilst we can. I do think shifting him and then possibly Wanyama are good moves overall. A summer of bringing three good players in whilst shifting Janssen, Trippier, Nkoudou, Onomah and (maybe) Wanyama is pretty good really.

Probably because he couldn't get in a monaco side that were almost relegated last season.

Agreed. 3 in and 5 out seems bad when you think our squad was thin last year, but the quality is the critical thing. None of those going out contributed anything last year (I’m including trippier in that analysis) and the 3 in are all big upgrades

We would have had too many non hg for a cl squad. Remember our youngsters are getting older too. Numbers are less important than quality.
