Was just having a chat about about our managerial changes over the last few years and something cropped up which made me realise what fuckers out boards have been over the years. This isn't an anti board post cos i actually appreciate the money they've put in, but....

Seville are considering reporting us to FIFA for the way we got Ramos.

The French FA were far from happy with us over the signing of Santini, just before the WC started (i know they hadn't offered him a contract yet but i still remember seeing anti Spurs comments from the French FA)

Southampton hated us due to the way we got Hoddle.

Swindon were fucked over when we signed Ardiles and wanted to report us if memory serves me correctly.

All the prostitutes in London were put out when Pleat joined us.

I'm sure there's more but what do you think? Is it just part and parcel of the game that someone has to get fucked over or can it be done the proper way - but we ain't doing it? We do seem to fuck off a lot of chairman when we go about our business. I know it's a dog eat dog kind of thing but still, we seem to do it more than most. And obviously the way the board just handled the whole Jol affair was pretty shite.

Are we ****s? Do we care if we are? Are we hairy ****s with baggy flaps? Are we sideways hamburger ****s with puffy out vulvas? Thoughts?

We're not the only ones though, other clubs have made dodgy moves for managers before. The only thing is we seem to do it every time we get a new manager in.

Hard is fair.

Most clubs are just as hostile tbh. Bolton just got Megson from doing similar with Leicester, Chelsea poached Arnesen from us. Dowie and Charlton conned Palace, Leeds poached Wise & Poyet from Swindon, Wednesday poached Laws from S****horpe...

The list goes on tbh.

like it or not it's the nature of the business.

The most important thing is that the board do right by THFC not any other FC.

It's a nasty business. I feel another fine coming our way for an illegal approach for Ramos, although they will prob find a settlement before it goes that far...

It's part of the game, and the fact Levy is a very astute business man.

It was West Brom not Swindon mate.

Erm, yeah i knew that really.... :)

I wasn't too sure about this particular appt, but the more i see and hear of Ramos, the more i'm getting excited. And when i get excited, bad things happen to my girlfriend.

So, at the moment, fair play to the board for getting their man.

Every decent (in fact most) manager is poached. Decent managers are rarely found in the Sky commentary box. It always leaves someone miffed.

Big MJ has had a chat with Newcastle and Ajax if it's all to be believed - while under contract to Spurs. It goes on and everyone knows it but it's not normally photographed and stuck in the Sunday pap.

Exactly, i'm glad someone else has mentionned that PT. Everyone is so quick to jump on the boards back for things they have been rumoured to do, yet any rumour making Jol look bad is forgotten, because he was a legend.

I honestly don't mind the bullshit about managers. I hate it when it involves players, and that may be a bit hypocritical, but I see managers as different. Because they can be fired, I think. Player's cant.
