Hope Foyth and MS will be ok, we don’t need injuries before the season even starts

I know its just a friendly cup and it doesn't mean much...

but in 2 days, we beat both Madrid and Bayern. morale boosting achievement IMO. Plus it was Bayern's home turf.

Hopefully, it will give the team that sense of belief.

Really proud of our youngsters. For Skipp, Roles and Tanganga to step up and win a penalty shootout against the likes of Mueller and Lewandowski is a real confidence booster for them after they all played such a part in the final.

cheers mate,

I meant the spot kicks, I heard some of our youngsters stepped up to take a few, would love to know who they were

Penalties were as follows:
Alderweireld
Eriksen (saved)
Kane
Son
Roles
Skipp
Tanganga

Hope I didn’t mix that up?

From what ive seen so far preseason I think our weakness will be right back. KWP isn't ready for me and is too easily muscled. I like Foyth but he has no pace makes and me nervous with his casualness which often gets caught out. Aurier as we have seen is a mixed bag.

it's our weakness in first XI terms, yep. Assuming no-one else is sold.

But still the bigger picture problem is needing Eriksen on the pitch for 90 mins in every game to conduct attacks and create chances.

Things look rosy when Lamela is fit and firing- I caught up with the Real game last night and I thought he was fab- but he will go over again soon and some will still say they couldn't see it coming!

Anyway, another huge shot in the arm for the Club's standing- wins against three of the heavyiest of European heavyweights secured. None of them fortunate. We've come so far, and are so close, will HE or won't HE plug the final gaps?!

Against Bayern Munich KWP had a decent game and actually muscled a few players off the ball to the point where even the commentators were talking about it. I think he will be a great right back in the future for us but we need backup and someone he can learn off.
