See now this is believable. Also, this is what Baldini was bought in to do, contrary to popular belief. Use his contacts around the world to find young talent to bring over to our youth academy to potentially benefit the first team in the long run.

I'm pretty sure popular belief is that is obviously what he was brought in to do, that and close deals apparently.

I mean popular belief outside of SC. Countless times I see people blame 100% of the blame on Baldini for the past 2 summers when that just is not the case. Hell even some people say that stuff on here.

I'm all for these type of signings and see it as the only way forward for a club of our size. Hopefully we'll unearth a couple of Gareth Bales and through them be able to finance the new stadium without getting ourselves into hock.

Our development squads throughout the age groups is extremely impressive and there is some serious talent already aboard.

If the new recruit is to work alongside Baldini, or even eventually replace the Italian, he will need to go some to find available youth willing to commit to Spurs.

The huge draws are the First Team coach who is an advocate of youngsters being blooded in the first team if it warrants. Additionally, the training facilities are World class and alone a reason for signing on for a lad's formative years of training to be a professional.

The future both long and imminent bodes well.
