Thankfully the consensus was very different this morning at HW and LH. You can’t dignify and legitimise such a view when it is totally contrary to your brand values and you have a women’s team.

But Spurs aren't suggesting whether a woman's place is in the home. They're asking whether those who are answering the survey questions feel as though a woman's place is in the home. It's not legitimizing anything. It's all about what is done with the data that comes back from the survey that matters.

It's not surprising, but it is annoying that anyone is making a big deal out of this.

Using such language in an official communication and suggesting that it's even a question with an equivocal answer is a PR issue for the club. I work in football communications and I can tell you Tony Stevens, Donna Cullen, Simon Felstein et al will not have been doing cartwheels into work this morning.

I am a 70 year old retired man and I do not know what all the fuss is about my wife works full time when she gets home she does the housework and then cooks the dinner in return I sometimes let her watch Eastenders I see no problem with the question and consider myself a modern thinking liberal .Am I wrong?

To allow Eastenders in your house? Yes

Just to clarify the question, is it asking if women should be allowed into the home?

The only reason they aren't doing cartwheels is that people in the States kicked up a fuss about it, apparently having never received a marketing survey before.

I thought this was pretty silly, too.
“I sometimes treat myself to things I don’t need,”.
This question went to sports fans? Come on, what can you derive from the answers? THEY ARE SPORTS FANS. If you don't get 100% "yes" to this question (who needs sports tickets and sport jerseys), then they are pathological liars.
