The amount of whinging in here, for a nothing incident with a Boro keeper, is, quite frankly, embarrassing. The next time any of us should even remotely think about Boro is in a few years time after they get promoted again. Nobody should care if Valdes did, or did not, get a retroactive ban for this incident.

There's only one whinging post in this thread, and it's the one I've just quoted.

All hilarious irony to one side the fact no action is being taken is a fkin joke. If de roon buries the added time volley you'd all be whinging. The offence was committed and should be punished, end of.

Fair points all round I think, however it's not going to change anything.......it hasn't before and won't in the future

no need to push for bans for players of teams that can take points of our rivals

He didn't bury it though

And a retrospective ban wouldn't change anything had that volley been buried

Middlesbrough play man utd in a few games time - perhaps the fact he isn't going to face a ban will keep him match sharp and he will play a blinder to deny them the win

Look on the brightside

Who gives a fuck if he's banned for other games anyway?

If it was one of our rivals everyone would be bothered. It's not, he got away with it and like others have said he can now be free to play a blinder against our competition.

We really don't want the retrospective ban magnifying glass focused on Alli so let's all pipe down.

I think everyone is calm in fairness. Stupid headline once again. Valid point to make about it being the other way around but that's where any serious conversation ends.

A standard three match ban for violent conduct would have seen him miss games against Everton, Oxford and Palace.

I believe that this is just the tip of an anti spurs thing
I don't give a hoot if valdes is banned or not all I want is fainess for all
so dembele gets a six game ban for the costa incident I thought it was a nothing incident I also thought the valdes incident was a fuss about nothing
but these incidents are part of a bigger picture for instance I saw rooney sent off in a match for a similar tackle as the one on demdele at sunderland but the referee was the same man in both incidents and anybody with no bias will tell you that the tackle on dembele was by a distance the worse
I could go on with similar incidents where 1+1 makes two but put spurs in the equation and 1+1 becomes 3
just be fair to all is what I ask for I wont hold my breath
