Soldado is a brilliant player, his movement and passing is superb. Set up 2 of the goals. We have to keep faith coz once he starts scoring we will all be happy.

But he missed big time last night. Sign of his low confidence still there.

He missed an open goal from five feet out. Blimey, Harry's wife would have got that one..........................

I mean to call him "a brilliant player" is plain daft. He was brought in to the club to score goals, nothing more and nothing less and has failed to do so. Whether his movement and passing is "superb" or not the fact is he's been an extremely costly mistake.

I stand to be flamed for this view but when you compare his contribution to that of Bony, or Berahino, or Ings it really proves that point.

I think someone said in the match thread last night about playing him on the wing and I don't think that's as crazy as it sounds..he cant beat a player, he can play clever pinpoint passes and can cross a ball? To me at times its just his finishing that lets him down as his movement at times has been pretty good

Many other strikers who aren't scoring then become useless to the team, even a burden but Soldi is still contributing big time. When he plays we don't often lose. He just needs to start scoring. This is 100% psychological (you don't miss from 5 yards out unless something is short circuiting or you are over thinking). He will come good for us.

So when Kane get's injured or suspended pray tell who will score us goals?

He was brought in to score goals, isn't delivering and is possibly our second highest paid player. Figure that one out the next time he manages to get a game.
