Hefty balls to do that..was a nice sight to see from the away section at 4-1 down. Spurs all over the ground from what I could see and only a bit of trouble. We took the piss a bit really

My understanding is that there were 10,000 Spurs supporters witnessing live Wednesday's game at the San Siro and listening to them sing made me extremely proud of our fans. Didn't hear much from the Inter fans though or maybe I had my rose tinted hearing aid on. !!!!!

Nothing major that I saw. Couple of inter kids lobbed some bottles at spurs fans in the duomo square before the game then scarpered as a couple came back in their direction. Bit of push and shove in the ground down one of the sides too, where loads of spurs were sat but that's all I saw. We were bussed in and out of the ground with a police escort, felt a bit like we had gone back 30 years!

One fight broke out. As you look at the goal where all the goals were scored, to the left of that and high up (so, just underneath the away fans enclosure and slightly to the right as you looked at the pitch). I couldn't figure out whether it was one of ours surrounded by Inter fans, or a bunch of Spurs fans on one side and Inter on the other, but fisticuffs were certainly thrown and the riot police did intervene I think. I only took one look at it, thought to myself 'what a dick' and turned back to the football as we had the ball up at the Inter end at the time, though I can't remember if we were 3-0 or 4-0 down at the time.

I was there, they young kids trying to get some songs going, and were attacked by Inter. The main one comes charging down the steps and promptly gets put on his arse and slung out for his trouble.
It was 3-0.

Sorry but I think, if you are not in the spurs section, but in fact surrounded bt opposition fans, you sit there silently or otherwise you're asking for trouble.

I did tell them that. In fact i pointed out the bloke, who 5mins later was on his arse, and told them there would be trouble.
Fair play to the youngsters and their fearless enthusiasm, they wasnt intimidated.

I heard some Spurs fans were jumped by Inter, took a bit of a pasting, and these flags were being 'paraded' as trophies.

Where did you hear that?

If so, would be completely opposite to the general mood that I personally saw and heard stories of.

Yes, there were isolated incidents of issues between the fans, but nowhere near as much as could have been.

I may be wrong, but from my experience 99% of Spurs fans were well behaved and 99% of Inter fans were likewise.

My experience as well....we were giving it loads in the 2nd tier below the yids with inter all around and no hint of trouble..we all ended up shaking hands at the final whistle...But Inter are No Napoli Lazio, AC..etc...

Don't get me wrong, the atmosphere was excellent (mostly). We met some blokes the after the game that said they knew a couple of lads who were jumped by 15 or so Inter the night before the game. Spoke to a cabbie (juve fan) on the day of the game and he said that Inter have been known to do things like that; jump ones and twos on their tod.

I also read it on YidArmy.

I was sat in one of the neutral stands and saw the Spurs flags in the Ultra's end to my right. No idea if they were Spurs fans or 'souvenir' flags for the Italians though.

I do think that if you're going away from home into Europe (given that there IS the occasional trouble reported at games) you should be sensible about things. Im all for supporting your team and cheering them on but not at the expense of getting whacked or inciting trouble.

From what I can gather, though, most Spurs fans were behaved and the police did a good job: I quite enjoyed being 'chaperoned' to the San Siro in a caged up bus to be honest!
