Can we sing that song the old boy did on TS when they were ringing in for songs for Pav?
'Wo wo wo its magic' but in the voice of an 80yr old man lol.
Ko o no ply anka
u know
he's gonna score 3 in a row
Kono plyanka
u know
he's probably going to blow.
Lol. Maybe not the last bit then.
That song on TS made me piss my pants.
I still sing it just to amuse myself.
Found it.

This guy is brilliant. Great signing.
I'll wait until it's announced officially, just to say that playing in the Europa cup and the Ukrainian league is one thing, playing in the premiership is another thing entirely, just a warning that maybe we won't see the best of the guy until his second season.

Headline 'completed', next line 'all but completed'. Next unwritten line: Spurs and other clubs have heard about his availability through his agent...

If we've signed him why has he just been photographed in Madrid? Sounds like a load of cobblers to me. Last week he was supposed to be in London and that was disproved too.

I think this 'takes a season to settle in' line is fast becoming just another cop out excuse in an ever increasing line of bullshit excuses for these overpaid prima donnas to use for not performing.
Sick of hearing it.

I've got a feeling he'll hit the ground running...literally! He's got the pace and the bottle for the premier league as well as being an established European soccer star... terrific signing!

Sevilla have dropped out of the running.

Unfortunately, there is no good news regarding Konoplyanka."Currently Sevilla have moved on from that possibility and we're working on other options. We set deadlines, they came and went, and the signing didn't go through. Sevilla are a big enough club to set deadlines and we did just that with Konoplyanka."

No one else has picked this story up, could be pretty high on the bullshit meter for mine.

Suarez, modric and Berba all took time to settle.

This lad was said to be on shockingly high wages in the Ukrain, which I think rules us out and Atletico in!

With respect I disagree.

I can see why you would hold that opinion however you should consider this. A player may be able to perform at their individual best (going past players, neat skill or shooting) despite moving to a new country/league/ language barrier etc however in a sport, like Football, that is so heavily reliant on team play and familiarity with tactical systems and style of team mates I think it is incredibly optimistic to expect a player to perform at the same capacity they had been performing with their existing team straight off the bat.

Until they have had a chance to acclimatise and learn their colleagues patterns of play it would be like you moving into a sales role in another country and being expected to know the market without experience of local customs and target audience.

Seems like this story and the Paulinho to China one maybe came prematurely.
No movement or other reports anywhere.
