Really interesting read, truthful in the most part too. They forgot about our increased revenue from the new stadium and the potential to pay higher wages. Not that we'll ever compete with the Man City/Utd or Chelsea funded clubs. But should their owners sell up we will be moving up the chain.
Already we can attract players of the calibre of Lucas so the future bodes well, we need a slice of luck on occasions to help our progression.
COYS
oh and IMPIT IDLIT.

there was a smart comment after the guardian article talking about the food chain and our position on it before/ after the stadium. Roughly speaking, post stadium, the only teams ahead of us financially will be:
Real, Barca, PSG, Bayern (outside Prem)...and even Bayern will be closer to us on wages/ transfer fees etc.
Oil slave owners, Utd clearly in the Prem.
Arsenal -- ahead but less and less over the years ahead.
Chelsea --- unknown what the Russian will do, is the lower spending the new normal?

So really those who can definitely outspend us: 3-4 overseas and 2-3 in the Prem. Probably 5 teams in total that are out of sight.

Gives every chance for a better run, coached club to make a run for the big trophies. COYS! In Poch and Levy we trust.
