They would obviously be the best central defensive partnership in world football, but I would like to see Chiriches play, he showed real potential and will improve this season, genuine leadership qualities.

He's twenty four, so if he can remain injury free that would be a good investment over time. I guess my question would be who else is their available who would come to Spurs of equal quality for less money.

I am guessing that Poch has given Baldini and Levy a shopping list that may include him, and at the same time are Liverpool willing to part with over fifty million of their Suarez warchest on two players having already got Lallana?

There's talk that it'll take 20 M to sign Lovern... now for me thats highly over priced but I also feel we must improve at CB and LB with new signing preferably with CL experience.
