Arsenal face competition from none other than bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City in the summer transfer window.
Antonio Conte has made a move to shatter negotiations by offering Champions League football to Jesus, who netted 95 times in six years at the Etihad. Losing out to Spurs a second time in as many months - after Conte’s side pipped Arsenal to the Champions League - would represent a massive blow to Arteta’s transfer plans.

I actually think we might be doing this to mess with Arsenal. They will get him in the end because they are liable to offer 300k pw wages. He's not worth that.

Hope not. Would much prefer Richarlison and I'm not that keen on him tbh. Jovic would be interesting, or Terrier looks like a really good fit imo.

He’s probably going to Arsenal. This is just to rile up Gooners and make them think they’ve nicked a target off us. Make things interesting for them. But they’ve reverted to type, pre-Wenger. As a club they’re boring as fuck.
