Great idea this, swap a striker who struggled in his first season & should hopefully be better off for it for a striker who is unproven in the league & may himself need time to settle

Except they aren't in contact with Roma over a striker swap.

Anyway...

From a Roma fan :

"As a Roma Fan , I can say that Destro is a great player for his age. But we Will have to be patient with him. He misses a lot of goals, before scoring."

Sound like anyone?

This crap has got to stop! Soldado's a key man for us and getting rid of him would be nothing short of bad business. I really don't see him going anywhere, and rightfully so!

So, Soldado who tore up La Liga isn't good enough whereas Destro, who struggled in Seria A is? Rumoured to have temperament 'issues' too, but then Poch did sign Dani Osvaldo and we know how that turned out.

I would rather keep soldado and let him have another season under a new manager. cant see the point in hoping another overseas striker with no prem experience cuts the mustard.
