hi,
Since I live in this country I thought there should be a thread

But the big question is... does anybody know a good pub here to go and watch the games?

Is that 1pm local time? I think that game will start at 1:45 so you'll have time to get to where the supporter's club will be.

Yea my flight arrives at 1pm local time. Do you know where they will be meeting?

Not yet but I think if you check http://amsterdamspurs.com/ a few days before the game they usually say. It's often at a place called Coco's something in Rembrandtplein which is a pretty cheesy bar but good for football I guess.

Otherwise there's quite a few pubs near the central station and even an internet cafe in an emergency.

I think you might be a bit rushed because it might take a you a while to get out of the airport and the city centre is a train ride away but I'm sure you'll catch the match somehow anyway.

Thanks for your help i'll check it out closer to the date. If it's called Coco's Outback then it's not far from the Stayokay hostel i'll be staying at.

I lived in Amsterdam from 2000 to 2006 and the best pub for watching football by a street is the Tara on Rokin, its about 3 mins walk from Dam Square in the direction to Rembrantplein.

They used to show every single game including Sat 3pm KO's but been years since I have been in it.

Hoopman's on Leidesplein, and O'Reilly's on Dam Square are decent football pubs also but not a patch on the Tara.

PS - best Irish pub and best Guinness in Amsterdam is Molly Malone's, 2 mins walk from Centraal Station on edge of red light area

Hi, I was wondering if any one can recommend a sport bar to watch the game against Lecister? I'm in Dam.
