Any idea how many people will make it across from Japan? The tram night was great fun last time, and with even more people attending this time around it promises to be a memorable weekend in HK.

Make sure they have a look on the SiHK website and make themselves known.

I was looking at a map of Hong Kong, as you do, and was horrified to see a street called Arse### Street Flyover. The 12 year old boy part of me was immediately satisfied when it was revealed that it led to Fuk Hing Lane.
Superb.

Any news? John is holding 10 spaces on the trams for overseas fans and I'm sure they will fill up, so book your seats early.

I'm still trying to get my flight rearranged into HK a day earlier. If I can I will register on the SiHK site. Otherwise, if I can't, I'll miss the game but might be there in time for the partying afterwards

There's an outside chance that I may make this.

I have some growing business interests in the region and will certainly have to be in Hong Kong sometime around this period.

Found out it's going to be September now.

Looks likely that I may be pitching up in Thailand (Bangkok) to open an office in September and will be there for a while.

You'll have a blast, Bangkok rocks. And only 2 hours on the plane to HK.

Managed to get my flight moved forward a day. I'm getting in mid afternoon into HK airport on 1st August. I'm going to be too late for the tram party, is there anything else going on? Surely something after the game.

IOMLS, sorry if I read that wrong, but if you're getting in at mid-afternoon you might be still OK for the tram party which begins at 7:30pm that evening.

The list of the events is as follows:

Saturday 1st August
5:00pm – Food and drinks at Delaney’s Wan Chai followed by taxi ride to tram depot.
7:30pm – Tram Carnival begins!
9:30pm – Drop off at Delaney’s Wan Chai for post-tram drinks.
11:00pm – Delights of Wan Chai (Dusk till Dawn, Amazonia, Traffik *cough* *cough*)

Sunday 2nd August ***
Buffet lunch at Top Deck in Aberdeen, unlimited top-ups of bubbly!
Possible curtain raiser between Spurs fans and South China fans at HK Stadium.
Tottenham Hotspur FC vs South China FC at HK Stadium.
A right ol’ knees up at Al’s Diner.

My flight lands at 4:40pm, not sure how long it is going to take me to get across HK as I've never been. Also I haven't booked my hotel yet, figured I would get one close to where everything is kicking off. Cheers for the info SLE. You going?

Airport express train from HK airport to HONG KONG STATION/CENTRAL takes about 25-30 mins MAX. There's usually one every 7-8 minutes. Once you get to HK station there are loads of taxis, and one to the wanchai area - where you can find novotel and other hotels - doesn't take long at all. 10-20 minutes (only 20 if bad traffic). So you've got a reasonable chance of making the tram if there are no delays. At the very least you'll get to celerbrate the post-tram drinking.

The only slight issue with the tram is that you may have missed the cut-off for it, as i know people had to paid pretty soon. Check on the spursinhongkong website for further details.

I'm afraid I won't be there, ironically enough I'll be in London. Won't be back in Hong Kong till mid-August. You've no idea how pissed off I am about this state of affairs.

If Ozspur has kept the booking for both trams there should be no problem in getting on one of them. I posted a bit more info on the SiHK forum too re hotels.
