Hi GDG. Good to catch up last Friday. Did you manage to get back in time for the tennis ?

We ended up in Al's for another beer.

Yup, got home ok and woke up with another bad head - thanks guys. Glad to see you found your way on here, now you have to get rid of that Jason Cundy badge by posting more.

Jez, you're doing better than me on the post count. At least I won't get bumped off this site (hopefully). Sorry about the sore head GDG, I carried on in Wanchai until 3am. You can imagine how my head felt. Fancy doing it again this week?

Jason Cundy, didn't he have that 50 yd volley at Ipswich? (wind assisted).
Not so bad Jez, you can live with it.

You know what, that might just work! I just found out that the family don't get back till next Tuesday and I've just blocked off this Saturday's work - so you're on.

And by the by, I don't know if you've seen the debut edition of "britsoverseas" today, but it has a whole page on the Spurs visit in August and they've detailed the whole SiHK weekend itinerary too - courtesy of your good self. You're a legend, sir. If you haven't got a copy I'll keep it and bring it on Friday - would be good to put a copy of it in Delaney's too.

Actually I didn't see the magazine, where do you get it? I'll have a look around and if I can't find one I'll let you know.

Friday should be fine. We'll be sure to get you home by Tuesday!!:beer::beer::beer::beer::beer::beer:

They are indeed. Baz, despite being a Kiwi, is a very nice bloke, though he is wont to make you drink more than you need and then make you continue drinking in Wanchai - he's also the head merchandiser for SiHK, having brought us t-shirts, business cards, umbrellas, discounts in Delaney's.

Spur'don seems to have hollow legs, it doesn't matter how much beer you pour down him he remains lucid and ready to do it all again the next day. If you make it in time for the tram ride you'll have your work cut out to keep up with them - remember it's a long weekend and they have years of experience pacing themselves over Rugby 7s weekends to fall back on.

On a totally random note I am in Hong Kong from 29th-31st July just missing the games but if anyone is already in HK (weds-friday) would be good to meet up for a beer or a chat, ore any locals reccomend me places to visit as its a last minute change of plan on my way home.

It's not going to take too much for me to be completely destroyed. After 3 flights and all day travelling I am going to turn up at a piss up with a load of Spurs fans. I don't think they will have to try very hard to out drink me.

So where can I get one of these SiHK t-shirts? That would be a pretty good souvenir of my trip. Is Baz the man to ask?

Yes, we will of course be there. Not sure what state I'll be in by Sunday. Maybe I should book Monday off work.........

Not sure what state I'll be in either. The jetlag always seems to catch up with me coming this way and I'm not a big drinker anyway. I'm sure it is going to be carnage. Fortunately I have 2 days afterwards for sightseeing/recovery before going back to work.

Sorry fella, I'm not arriving until August 1st. You might want to head over to the SiHK forum and ask there as most of them are locals I think.

Yup, ask Baz. I might have one spare at work, too, I'll try and get it over to the lads who will be there to pass on to you.

I think I have two blue shirts in size L and a white shirt in size XL. These are Chinese sizes so tend to be a bit smaller than UK sizes. We can sort it out when you get here.

He'll be bringing them to Delaney's, see his post above. A modern classic that should be in the wardrobe of any travelling Spurs fan.
