There are a lot of Spurs fans in Hong Kong, but until recently they were watching games in three different locations. The visit of a Spurs squad to the Hong Kong Soccer 7s in May of this year proved the catalyst for change. The three groups started talking, even drinking together, and one of the lads got off his backside and started the first website above, which has given people a communication channel to chat about Spurs while the UK is asleep.

The local Chinese supporters have had a website up and running for several years (the second link above) and have a membership of over 400, with an active group of around 60-70 people.

In the last two months we've come a long way, people are meeting regularly for drinks and we've started a 7-a-side footie team which will play its third match this Saturday and which may have to be upscaled to 11-a-side due to its popularity as new people sign up to the site.

If you're visiting Hong Kong any time, drop us a line either in here or directly on the website - I can virtually guarantee that there will be someone ready and willing to go out for a beer and we can let you know where to go to watch the mighty Spurs in good company.

SpursinHongKong FC played our third match last night, a tight match which we eventually lost 6-4. We had 16 lads out for the match (a bit of a headache when it's only 7-a-side) and a very solid crew out to watch the second half of the Torino game and drink in to the early hours.

We're expecting 30+ people out for the Sunderland game at Delaney's in Wanchai:

and should all be kitted out in our brand new SiHK t-shirts. It's going to be a rocking night, if you're in the area come and join us.

A few pics from last night, a pity about the woeful performance from the team but around 60 fans in HK did their best to shout their team to glory through a TV screen. Mad? Us?

Warch out for these two flags this season, they should make an appearance somewhere:

And the new SiHK t-shirt, put together in under a week, first run of 40 shirts:

Looking forward to many more meets this season, with hopefully around 100 people out for the Arse game - let's hope the bloody team remember to turn up to play next time out.

SpursinHongKong in the Dublin Jack in Central at halftime last night - the mood was obviously rather more sombre by the end of the game - becoming a bit a of a habit that, isn't it?

Ooh, you gonna be here for the Arse game? Promises to be a huge night, we're expecting up to 100 people to be out for that. NOW TV show just about all the games live now so we really shouldn't miss many this season. Let me know when you're coming and check out the forum on the website above to see where we'll be, but it will almost certainly be Delaney's in Wanchai now.

Are you in the pictures...??? and if so....love to put a face to the name...........
Dead centre at the back, in the away shirt below the two lads in white - that's me.

Or in the team photo further up the page I'm the one in the middle of the back line.

Cool, eh? We're just doing a run of navy blue ones with a white logo which should be even better - they don't show up the spilled beer and sweat so badly. JJetset, if you want to order one you can do so on the website above, there is a thread in the Spurs and Hong Kong forum - they're only HK$90 each and will be virtually unique outside of HK. You can settle up when you get here, but hurry, the offer closes on Friday.

Just signed up and ordered one GDG...need to know how to pay you guys?
As I said over there, I think the easiest way is to send cash in an envelope and we'll send you the t-shirt by return. The t-shirt is HK$ 90 I believe so you'd just need to add a bit for p+p. If you're happy with that let me know and I'll get Baz's address for you. JJetset, can't interest you in one?

SiHK FC played their fourth match and ran out 3-2 winners (maybe something to do with the fact that I wasn't playing!). A great result, but the match report was definitely MOTM, penned by our very own Bennycat, a primary school teacher - should we be worried?

Looks long but it's well worth the read:
