Class report! I feel as if I were there, sharing in the 'semi on' fun.

Congratulations SiHK for a thrilling victory.

As I said over there, I think the easiest way is to send cash in an envelope and we'll send you the t-shirt by return. The t-shirt is HK$ 90 I believe so you'd just need to add a bit for p+p. If you're happy with that let me know and I'll get Baz's address for you. JJetset, can't interest you in one?
I'm over this Tuesday and hopefully not working next Saturday night when we gubb Bolton 5-0 away....Is it live?

Will they show the UEFA over there anywhere on Thursday/Friday?

What drinking establishment will you be in as i'm at the Holiday Inn ?

Welcome aboard, mate. We'll be in Delaney's in Wanchai:

http://www.delaneys.com.hk/wanchai.html

Click on "Map" and you'll see how to get there. Take the MTR (underground) to Wanchai, come out of Exit C and turn left, walk about 150 yards and turn right on to Luard Road, Delaney's is about 30 yards on your right. We'll be upstairs on the first floor in the Sports Bar - I'll PM you my mobile number in case you get lost. Make sure to make yourself known once you get there, kick off is at 10pm HK time. Check in Social Services too, the lads are meeting up for a drink sometime midweek, see if you can join them.

G-dawg, i was going to post in Chat, but not seen you in there much - how you guys getting on with the rain over there? Did that Typhoon pass you by in the end, or have you had your trouser legs hoiked up and had to paddle to work?

Hope all is well - remember to keep your armbands handy, just in case eh?

I'm so busy at work that I've not been seen anywhere much recently. The typhoon went up to Shanghai and is affecting the women's World Cup quite badly, we got dead still air and near-record pollution levels over the weekend. Which sucked as I was out on a junk trip (cue stupid jokes) round to one of the more scenic parts of HK and you could barely see more than half a mile through the smog - quite disgusting.

bummer - i've seen pics of the floods but they didn't say where about it was, just "China" which, considering the size of the place, doesn't narrow it down any really

Shame it wrecked your messing about in boats, but good to hear you're not sandbagging desperately to save your belongings

Thanks for caring, but it's bone dry and 30 degrees here at present and the pollution is probably here to stay till February as the northerlies blow all the shit down from the Pearl River Delta.

Sorry again, made my excuses on the SiHK site already - next time I'll buy you a couple of Guinnesses and Spurs will hopefully be out of the top 3. Definitely not a typical SiHK night from what I've read, but a distraction from a dire game, at least.

How many hours have you got? It's only 24 minutes on the train straight in to the middle of Central, where I work.

Spurs in HK excelled themselves last night. The evening started with the inaugural awards ceremony at Al's Diner, a bar managed by a Spurs fan (who promptly loaded us up with black sambuca shots and vodka jellos, despite being absent), complete with laminated certificates.

A quick stop at 7/11 for supplies and we were off on a 2 hour tram ride through town with all the old Spurs songs blaring out of the PA system and lots of singing/heckling of pedestrians along the way.

A short taxi ride and we dashed back to Central to the Dublin Jack for the match, and what a match! Was this Spurs we were watching? Zokora playing out of his skin at CB, Jenas and the Prince dominating the midfield, pressing Pompey all the way up the park and hassling them completely off their game, barely a chance against us in 93 minutes (where DID those extra 3 minutes come from, there was barely a stoppage?) and the whole bloody lot of 'em full of beans at the end of the match!!! And as for O'Hara's cameo performance - delightful!

GDG beat a retreat to the outlying islands at 1.30am but the hardcore boys finished up at 4.30am in one or two of the more salubrious joints in Wanchai - a fantastic night to really set us up for Christmas.

If you're ever heading in to HK do look us up, you'll be well looked after and we make a lot of noise during the games! Should you be interested you can check out the photos from last night here:
