Hey guys!

I'm going to Israel in December for holidays. Must admit that I'm a bit curious about what sort of questions the airport police will ask you upon arrival to Tel-Aviv. Is it true that they will pulled you into a room and ask all kinds of questions?

Sorry for my skepticism, but I've never experienced such situations before.

Btw! My mates and I are planning to go see a football match when in TLV, which local club has the best atmosphere, and what are the price levels for Ligat HaAl ?

I have been to Israel numerous times and never been pulled into a room (on a Danish passport). Maccabi Tel Aviv were always the best team when i was visiting but I have no clue on the prices.

Thanks for the tip about Maccabi TLV - Got a Danish passport here as well so hopefully I wont experience any rectal investigations :)

Briliant, MASH central is a couple of streets from our hotel GILGAL. On the Sabbath too.

Mikes bar is bloody expensive plus has a chelsea scarf! I may still be in isrsel by then. If I am, I'll buy you a pint!

@Wellspurs I actually think that the bar called "Mash *Embassy"" - there are two "Mash" bars. It's located on 98 HaYarkon street.
Found that vid on their FB page :

I'm in Tel Aviv on holiday. Depressingly on telling people you are frm London they ask if you support Arsenal or Chelsea and only look confused when I say Spurs.

When I say England, people say "ahh Manchester United". One receptionist did say that she has s soft spot for Tottenham because "you are the Yids, it's our club!". Good times. No doubt pub will be full of United though...
