My parents are from JA (mum from St Thomas and dad from Manchester) but i've never been there (I know I know). Me and my older bro both support Tottenham but for some reason my dad supports West Ham. I'm quite lucky because most of my friends of caribbean heritage here (North London) also support Tottenham so it's good when we get together to watch the games mostly on tv but sometimes at the stadium.

My wife is from Dominica and whenever we go there I always wear my Spurs shirt around Roseau and I mostly get comments about Arsenal, Man U or Liverpool. Hopefully over the next few years we'll become more popular throughout the caribbean.

I'm from Dominica, actually traveling on the 28th. I'm from the north (Portsmouth) and it seems they all want Chelsea shirts. It will be interesting to see how they are now seeing that the chavs are not doing so well

Oh I've been to Portsmouth a few times, think that's where the big US uni campus is right? I haven't been there for a few years but my kids love it. I think mostly they follow who is doing well at the time. Most Jamaicans that I know who had an interest in football from the 80s are Liverpool fans. Think Barnes had some influence on that too. Most of my cousins here (mid to late 30s) are Pool fans. Had to go through some dark times in the 90s I tell ya. Luckily things have swung around more in our favour in recent years, although they still have won more trophies. We're much more respected.

Hey Phn3x and Panther.... Did you guys attend the game vs St Vincent on Tuesday.... First time saw Levi Garcia who just turned 18....what a brilliant talent...was trying to see if any Spurs scouts had checked him out....he is crazy good....left winger/forward...great ball control dribbling pace unselfish....also Joevin Jones another very talented player...think these guys have the ability to go very far...just want it to be with spurs!!!!

Sorry to be a stick in the mud guys, as cool as it would be to have Bob as a fan, it's more likely urban myth. However, Bob's second love in life was football, a good player and a big fan of the Argentinian World cup winning team particularly our own Osvaldo Ardiles and Bob was apparently sent a Spurs shirt at the time which is where this story has probably evolved from.
One love Irie!
Close enough for me.

It depends on where you're staying and the cable subscription they have. In Jamaica, we have regional, American and UK channels that broadcast EPL matches.

Also, you can PM me if you need further assistance.

Thanks, have got ESPN & ESPN intl, SportsMax, SportsMax2, Fox Soccer Plus, Fox (wsvn) Miami, plus various other American stuff. I am in Falmouth but haven't a clue as to the cable service the hotel uses!

Okay. Not all of those may broadcast EPL matches and if they do, Spurs' may not be a selected match. You should be able to check their programme schedule online and then locate one that does. If none of them do, you may need to watch it online.
