Pat Condell would be proud of this cow-towing to the PC police.

Name changed to the Springsteen sounding Spurs in the USA specifically because there is already a Spurs in Canada thread

The only places I know of are on International Drive.

There is the Cricketers Arms at Festival Bay Mall who are showing the games against Boro and Sunderland. Lucky Leprechaun Irish pub and Best of British Sports Bar and Grill are all on International Drive.

A word of warning though, they tend to have a $10-20 cover charge if you want to watch the football.

There are a few pubs in Kissimmee on US 192. When you arrive, check the local phone book. Also try foxsoccer.com. They have a pub listing for most towns in Florida

The game is on Setanta at 9:45/10 am ET. Which you will be in. Try this link that has the listing of bars in the Orlando area with Setanta.

I am currently going to be stuck calling the local Liverpool pub and try to convince them to open up at 10 am rather than 12:30 pm for the 'Pool game. Absolute horseshit, even though the did say they wouldn't open up for the Ar5ena1.

Hi folks, I'm an Englishman living in.......checks to see if the PC police are around....:shifty:........AMERICA. Anyway, I saw that the game tomorrow is on Setanta broadband. It says you can subscribe for $14.99 a month which doesn't seem too bad.

So, I was just wondering if anyone else has this service and if it's any good eg streaming quality, reliability, number of matches shown, etc?

Any info much appreciated

I used to have Setanta when I was with DirecTV but now I'm with Insight and they don't carry it. When I had it the cost was only $4.99 per month.

Setanta was good as it showed more than just footie. I'd get to watch Rugby (6 nations) & some cricket too. IMO it was worth the money even though at the time FSN showed the higher profile footie games while Setanta would be showing games like Wigan v Bolton. I believe that has changed now and that Setanta show just as many big games as FSN which might explain why it's now $14.99

If I could get it on Insight TV I would get it. The only option for me is to get it online which I could also watch by using streams for free or using ESPN360 (again it's free with Insight broadband).

You should get it and cancel if you don't like it. Or look at the programming and decide month by month if you should have it...

Cheers KentuckyYid. I think I'll give it a go since it's the first game of the season, and they also have the Chelsea game in a couple of weeks too. I can always cancel it after that if it's sh*te.

Local Liverpool pub is letting me in early to watch the match:hump::hump::hump::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:

I can't wait even though I will be there 30-45 minutes before the bartender

Maybe I should sneak a flask in...Regardless, I am stoked for the new season.

COME ON YOU SPURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going early to get a good seat. That means I have to watch the Arse lose. Oh well, could be worse, no TV.

The home and away shirts are currently on sale at World Soccer Shop, the home shirt is $49.99 here :-

http://www.worldsoccershop.com/shop-by-team-tottenham-hotspur.html

If you use coupon code 'newepl' you get free shipping too. I'm banking on my new shirt bringing us a change of luck. That and Jenas getting struck by lightning!!

thats a very good price! you could buy them in USA, bring them over to the UK and sell them!

WIll they ship to the UK? Will that coupon code work for shipping to UK?

Anyone from Columbus, Ohioish? Looking for people to go to the pub with to watch the Final.

Bit late but I'm moving to Ohio in Jan - my soon-to-be-brother-in-law lives in Columbus and is being groomed as a Spurs fan by me.

I'm going to be in Kent, near Akron - counting on a couple of students being interested in the footy...
