So I'm off to Hanoi tomorrow with the idea of staying in 'Nam until Christmas. I was wondering if anyone knows of a good bar that shows the footy? For future reference and that.

Been to Hanoi twice before, don't ever remember seeing football there, its not that kind of place really. Great French influenced cuisine. Great Karaoke bar in the basement of the Hanoi hotel, give it a try.

Where in hanoi do you live? There are a few spurs fans here but I haven't got to know any of them. I think I've found the best place to watch footy.
Big screen, indoors, sofas and English commentary.

House of son thinh, xuan dieu, Tay ho

Give me a shout if you want to check it out sometime, I'm keen to catch as many games as possible

Funnily enough I just arrived in England today, for good. Head to House of Son Thinh in Tay Ho, should be a few of each side in there. Eat dinner in the restaurant above beforehand as it has some great Vietnamese/western style food.

Haha what great timing! I noticed that link to the supporters group in Hanoi so will get in touch with them. Thanks for the recommendation, I will check it out for sure. Hope you enjoyed your time out there and that you also are happy to be back in England.
