Haven't seen too much of him, but from what I have seen, he might be a good understudy to Eriksen. Not sure that would be the best step for him though. He might be better off joining a team where he gets to play week in, week out.

When he was at Coventry I really liked the look of him and he appears to have stepped it up at Norwich.

It’s surely one of him OR Grealish though. Not sure we could accommodate both.

The same James Madison who Tweeted that he hated Bale, and made derogatory remarks about Bales appearance that even I will not print in here?

I wouldn't want him at my club to be honest.

Must admit I must have missed something with this boy. I've watched him a couple of times playing for Norwich & haven't being overly impressed. Grealish I can half understand, because he occasionally does something of note, but I've never seen it from Madison & I think Onomah is a better prospect.

Think one of those tweets specifically said he hates Spurs as well. From what I've heard (albeit from an Ipswich fan) he's got a reputation for being a knob off the pitch, so not sure he'd fit in with the 'no dickheads' policy that Eric Dier recently talked about.

It’s all opinions I suppose.

But tbf to Maddison, both played in the championship last year and Maddison got 14 goals 8 assists to Grealish’s 3 goals and 6 assists.

Tidy return.

Also, wasn’t aware of those tweets about Bale or him being a dickhead. He can consider my compliments revoked.

Even if those tweets are genuine, which I doubt, he would have been 15/16 at the time.

I'll admit I had the same sentiments as this when Tim Sherwood started playing Harry Kane above Adebayo.

I just couldn't see it.

I guess sometimes it's just hard to work out if a prospect will make it in this game.

I think this is a no go just speculation....prefer Grealish.Better option, very talented but needs Poch as a coach, young and English.....also will help the team to meet UAFA rules on squad qualification rules.....seems that rule gets forgotten by supporters

We have a ‘no dickheads policy’?

It’s about time.

Hold on, let's be clear, the tweets were from years ago when he was like 15 or 16 years old so whilst he may have been a bit of a dick as a teenager, there's no indication that he hates Spurs. He certainly didn't seem to like Bale much and liked bigging up Wilshere but he'll know now that he can't be stupid enough to follow through on those kinds of daft opinions.

Equally I've seen him reach out to Norwich fans offering his signed shirt etc so he's matured a lot.

If I had to choose between him and Grealish then I'd personally pick Maddison. I'm a big fan of the way he plays and he had a helluva season for Norwich last season.
