just what we don't need, another player that will need time to adapt. why cant we buy some players who can do the biz now.
He is experienced and the russian captain so may not need that much time to adapt, who knows! But just look at the Brazilian lad Elano at Man city, he certainly hasnt taken long to shine, along with some of their other foreigners eg Corluka, Petrov.

I have seen him play quite a few times - for both Russia and Zenit, and I have talked about him and rated him as a good player. I rate him as one of Russia's best players.
I rate him as the BEST russian player

Don't know much about this player tbh. From the clips tho he looks all right footed. Personally I think we need more natural left footed players in the squad.

Sod all this Arse-shaving talk, and the Gilberto Silva chat. I wanted Elano and Afonso Alves in the summer, and we got sodding Darren Bent and a non-committal Defoe.

And now Elano and Afonso are knocking in goals like no tomorrow!

I really haven't been that impressed by Commoli so far. I just hope that Taarabt and Kaboul prove to be everything they are meant to be.

And where's the bloody midfield general in our squad these days? JJ is a good guy but he's never gonna be any better. And Thud is too slow in progressing.

I hate these international match breaks.......they make me moody. It's like man's version of that-time-of-the-month....
