Another click bait.
Papers reported Spurs interested before the window opened....so it was about time they "informed" us that Spurs have finally made an inquiry

Mahrez is a match winner who is currently earning over 100k a week. Nothing less than 50m.

Strange things do happen.

Imagine a choice of Ali, Mahrez, Son, Erik(when fit), Eriksen behind kane. Tasty (y)

Even behind Jensen

I see goals goals goals. Personally I think Mahrez would be a perfect fit plus he's a league winner that experience might be enough to push us over that line.

I would make Mahrez my No1 target. He is a proven match winner who.also has EC experience as a bonus A no brainer.

You think anyone thinks Levy will spend £50m on anyone let alone as an alternative to a younger players available for less?

This is either absolute bullshit or, most likely, his agent trying to get Arsenal to make a bid.

Hee going to want more than we'll pay him and Leicester are going to want more than we'll pay for him. It's not happening on many fronts.

I agree with your sentiments entirely. I was simply giving my view on his suitability as a Spurs player. If there was a way to get him, he is the one name being bandied around I actually feel would significantly improve the sides effectiveness and not necessarily taking a chance on.

We can't afford him or his wages - move on

Well , we can afford him...and his wages . Walker is gone for what I hear is 45 mill down . His wages are gone as are some others .

What you mean is that it would upset our wage structure .

I quoted the wrong person lol. One above you suggested it was Levy trying to put pressure on Everton to sell Barkley.
As if anyone would believe that tactic!
