I miss the atmosphere and also the gang...well, I was out there accompanying a friend from Malaysia and missed the game.

Darn it that the local free-to-air TV stations no longer able to show the English league games. Must find out a site for me to watch on-line.

Absolutely. What the hell is Ray up to? Must be enjoying himself as he's not been on at all. Shame as I've pmed my mobile number and let him know about some places to stay. Ah well, as long as he isn't stranded somewhere, I suppose he's enjoying himself. Be nice to grab a beer before he buggers off though.

Indeed, Ray has been insanely busy. But it would be good to get a beer at some point.

No, wait. We had a beer last night. And watching the game at your place this morning. Oh yes.

Hope you're having a good trip Ray, I'm sure Bill is being the consummate host.

I remember it as if it were yesterday.

That eloquent Liverpool-supporting Manc property tycoon allowed you to leave the pub then? He grabbed me on the way out, hugging me and shouting "I've got Bellotti's number and we're gonna go out every night!". :|

Anyway, the 2nd SC Spurs Malaysia Viewing Party in a week commences this evening. Anyone in the area is welcome to join us at 3am in Angkasa Impian 2.

You can tell Mrs. Oddie is away. Good show if you have a few people going out at 3am - I shall be watching it at home on the telly.

Well, the turn-out was a respectable 2.

Although, that may depend on your definition of respectable.

Damn fine meeting Mr Shady though. Thoroughly top bloke and had a great time in the pubs and curry house on Changkat Bukit Bintang, which he now knows as well as any local, after the weather and traffic delayed me by 2 hours to meet him.

No staying power these lads in Malaysia - three weeks and not a squeak.

He says that but the nearest he got was sleeping with me.

Err, I mean, sleeping in my apartment while my wife was away.

Err, we got up in the night and congregated on the couch.

Err, to watch the football.

Nothing happened.

Anyway, the GDog raises a fair point. Whats happening here? Any more meets coming up chaps?

Bearing in mind it's the Arse game up next and we're gonna have nearly 100 people out over here in HK.

The Orange in Sri Hartamas is probably the best bet. The time I went was great. Good turn out and decent atmosphere, despite the fact it was the Sunderland game.

It certainly is, bud. Just about anywhere you go.

It'll either be on ESPN (most likely) or Star Sports. And in all the good bars. if he wants a heads up on some good ones to head to, let me know what he's after and I'll give you a couple of recommendations.

Theres a great pool bar called Bru-Ball at a place called Phileo Promenade. It's very near KLCC (the Petronas Twin Towers in the very centre of the city), but hard to find. He can get a taxi from anywhere though.

Or he could aim for an area with plenty of bars like 'Changkat Bukit Bintang'. Not so many pool tables (but still some) but lots of expats, great bars and all show the footy. He can choose from any one of maybe 8 good places, there.

Blimey, this forum seems to be working.

Is that 'working' as in: Useful information is being shared by fellow Yiddos, or 'working' as in: I can boost my post-count here?
