Well, I'm not sure we could say that our forum is exactly rocking with enthusiasm, but thats more to do with the fact that the main communication tool here is an email thread.

We're all going along for the match on Saturday though, so I'll do my best to rally the troops then.

We started with email communication about three months ago and everyone's inbox was being swamped until one of the lads got his finger out and set up the website, which is now thriving.

We have the forum, and the members, but the two simply don't seem to meet often enough. Which is a shame.

Website/Forum
I have already voiced my opinion regarding this on our e-mail thread. I am not a big fan of the e-mail thread as we now have 70 addresses to send to and my inbox will get swamped. This is my opinion but what can I say, outvoted was I. So carry on with the e-mail group until somebody else complains. It is getting to the point that I am getting over 20 e-mails/day on the group and it will only get worse methinks.

Restaurant:
B_O, one of my best friends has a restaurant right by your apartment, BIJAN, good malay food there.

But my fave chicken rice haunt is the one opposite from BB park, crap I forgot the name. Will prolly go there today and update the name later haha

Your firend owns Bijan?! Really?! I love that place! (blimey, probably over-doing the exclamation marks, but it is a fantastic restaurant).

They know me vaguely well in there. I would love to eat there more, but the missus is off spicy foods while breastfeeding. But as she's away, I might just head there next week.

The pegedil are the best entree I've ever had at any restaurant, ever. Fact. And the lamb shank and the chicken dishes are sublime.

Brakefluid, you've just made me very hungry.

She also owns an Italian restaurant, La Risatta worth a go as well, legit wood burning oven for the pizzas

She also owns La Risata! You're kidding me! I've just reviewed that in last month's mag. It's brilliant. My colleagues favourite eatery (he lives nearby).

I see I'm going to have to become very good friends with you, buddy.

Well, I don't think it's really a problem. There are choices for you to receive up to 25 emails in one (digest form), or you can simply read the email message on the google group page (sort of a message board).

Just wanted to say, cheers to all the Malaysia Spurs boys for a very enjoyable evening last night. Until 92:54 into the game anyway.

I thought we got a great turn-out and everyone was really friendly and passionate - even better than watching it in a boozer in the UK.

I'll definitely be back and am looking forward to seeing you all again.

This thread needs pictures! 60 or so people out in HK last night, a great night until the last minute, as you say. I'll post a few pics in our HK thread tonight.

I'm so buggered that my convocation ended late (8.30) and i missed the meet AND the match.

it was all shaping up nicely too, got my degree, received an award, gave my speech well, but it had to be spoilt buy Roy Keane, buggers!

i blame Ray for being in Malaysia...

Absolutely. What the hell is Ray up to? Must be enjoying himself as he's not been on at all. Shame as I've pmed my mobile number and let him know about some places to stay. Ah well, as long as he isn't stranded somewhere, I suppose he's enjoying himself. Be nice to grab a beer before he buggers off though.

littlemandefoe: AHR is indeed a very good night out. Have you been out on Changkat BB much? I much prefer it as there are more places, it's cheaper and lots more interesting folk to chat with.

If you're out this weekend and fancy a beer, let me know
