Play for Poch or play for Conte...if the player cant get that one right we don't want them anyway!

You will see the very clear player choice shift between chavs, gypsies and us. I believe the field will be very clear for us. And we certainly won't be outdone on wages.

Before anyone gives an optimistic, or negative ratings. There are concrete things I cannot reveal that will come out in the media by January I would guess. Put it this way; we are over-subscribed in interest and choices. Paying off the stadium will be academic as things stand right now. Lucrative investments pending?
It's the hope the kills me. I remember stories about big uncle Joe blocking the Bale move and funding all those purchases as a last swansong. Then Bale went. And we were left with Vlad fucking Chirices.

I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting to play for Conte. The issue Is, it might only be for a few weeks based on the rumours of discontent.

How could Barclays last minute decision possibly have been down to money? Surely by the stage when he walked out the door the money side of it had already been sorted? You don't travel down to Chelsea feom Liverpool get ready to do your medical or as reported start tour medical andbthem start talking about how much you'll be paid.
I still think the media are missing the fact that Drinkwater bowled up and he must have thought 'fk me ANOTHER midfielder? I'm never gonna get a game. Did you know he was coming here as well Mr Agent self interest going to do very well out of this and fk whats best for the player man? You did? Well fk this I'm off.'

Im very interested to see which Hazard turns up this season. Given Costa situation, media slating the club, Conte unhappy and the whole problem getinng players in, I expect him to start sulking and down tools again. Hope so.
Spent £150m fk me its just not enough is it. These people aren't great coaches
If they cant spend 250m every window and just go around the world cherry picking the worlds best players then they're shite. Thats not being a top coach in my book.

Luke Dowling the former sporting director of watford was on the totally football show podcast. He said that he knows RB's agent and there is no way that he would have walked out of a chelsea medical. He reckons that the interest was there from chelsea (among others) but RB is out until nov/dec and just wanted to re asses his options in January.

He didn't say any thing specific about spurs but I thought that was interesting info none the less.

Joey Barton the bastion of truth :dead: said that Conte had his phone off and missed the opportunity to discuss where he wanted Barkley to play and what role he'd have.

He said that's why he hadn't signed. Imagine there will be a lot of stories going round about it, just have to hope he wants us and we want him still in Jan..

That will not happen. Barring a disaster it should happen
Guessing naming rights for the stadium will impact things. Can't see us massively changing our wage structure that dramatically though, we'd need to massively increase our turnover in all areas to do that.
