Tottenham have requested an allocation of just 2000 tickets from the 3000 they are entitled to so Cardiff fans will be able to take up some of the Grange End. Ticket pricings will be as for usual Championship matches.

Cannot believe that we would not sell all 3000 tickets for this match and if this is true its a poor decision by the club. Surely with all season tickets sold out, membership closed due to over subscription we should be taking all our possible allocation to give as many fans as possible the opportunity to see the match.

might have something to do with it being live on sky.

the decision is as good as making Bucharest a Category A game..........

The club are liable for any unsold tickets, they're obviously taking no risks.

You honestly think that we would not be able to sell 3000 tickets?

This does seem a strange decision by the club when the total we could have got is so small anyway. Surely we would sell 3000 tickets for a cup tie, we're not Newcastle ffs.

Don't know - Cardiff is a long old way to go on a Sunday evening. It's live on Sky - it's not one I would consider.

May be something to do with police advice?

Scandal if it was our choice, we could take 5000 to the game

we would easily take 5000, this has been done to reduce the risk of trouble , both teams have notorious followings from the past

Following discussions with Cardiff City and the Police, our allocation for The FA Cup 3rd Round match against Cardiff City will be 2,015 tickets. This is approximately 10% of Cardiff City's stadium capacity.

Although the rules of The FA Cup competition entitle us to an allocation of 15% of the stadium capacity, it is not possible for Cardiff City to accomodate this without the Club having to completely reverse their usual plans for access, segregation and exit from the Stadium.

Understandably, for such a high profile match, stadium security plans quite rightly take priority and in the interests of safety and security for fans from both Clubs and given the match is live on television, we have agreed to follow Police advice.

In the event of a replay of this match at White Hart Lane, we have agreed with Cardiff City that their supporters would be given the same percentage allocation of tickets that our fans have received.
