The only reason players cost £50m and up is because us mugs paya shit tonne of money to Sky, BT and the ensuing streaming services.

It's us that pay these enormous fees. The club's don't get the money from the TV firms, they get it from us.
The sickening thing is, my £100pm sky bill is probably partially finding our rivals spending.

If there is ever an option to pay Spurs directly for tv coverage of spurs matches only I'd drop the other subscriptions in a heartbeat.

I was getting worried we wouldn't sign any Nplayer this season ...

I guess you'd much rather a kovoic povoic slavoic or maybe Mcdonald McNail McBail. The Nplayer jokes are getting lame now.

He plays as one of the two advanced CMs in a 4-3-3 and his style is very similar to Dembele but I think he's more creative (8 assists from CM).

Dembele is a tough tackling midfielder that doesn't score or create much though.
6 assists according to wiki and no goals, he can also dribble like Dembele. Reading what others say about him, he isn't yet on the same level as Dembele but has a lot of potential.

I don't know how a season in ligue 1 warrants him going from 8 million to 35 million.

I was gonna point out that if you see Dembele as a tough tacking midfielder, then I'd get why you'd say Ndombele is the same - I definitely wouldn't classify Dembele as that though. Wanyama is the definition of a tough tacking midfielder and him and Dembele are very different players.

I think they both fit the description but Wanyama is of course much more defensive, Dembele gets forward more but 12 goals and 12 assists in 6 years certainly doesn't suggest a very offensive player.

Does have a lot of talent, but often takes a lot of touches/time on the ball without really doing anything of purpose. Not the player I'd be after, but the French market seems to be one the club goes to in the last few years so one of the more likely rumours that happens.

Regarding the article - I doubt the Guardian have any real idea of how it works. Like every other "news" outlet, they just google a few things, don't fact check any of it, then write an article about it.

Another tough tackling midfielder that doesn't create or score much.

There's more to him than that Mullers. I really like this kid. He is strong and tenacious, but he can play a bit, and he can see a pass too. He's one of those 6/8 hybrids, we are seeing more of, and if we're going to play CM2's, he's ideal for that double pivot, but can also play more of an 8 role in a CM3. He's only 21 and his potential is massive.

I don't agree MP, he's not a ditherer or a dribbler for the sake of it, I think he was a 21yo learning, I think his decision making - when to hold onto the ball, and his passing decisions, risks etc, noticeably improved as the season went on.
