I’m sorry but Llorente is useless. His positioning is awful and he’s so lazy. Please sell him

Third game in a week for a 33 year old (in the US heat) and where do you expect him to move? There is no buildup to read as a striker so what runs do you expect him to make? And who do you expect to actually deliver the ball in this lineup? Basically, it is not really a fair comment based on recent evidence.

Yeah, we should sub out GKN for Davies and move Georgiou up as a LM/LW.

Georgiou is by far the best player on the pitch. Amos not too far behind IMO

Georgiou is not a LB, great technical ability but Suso was getting the better of him everytime, he needs to play further forward.

It will be a crime if KWP does not get 20 games (at least) next season.

Amos and Skipp doing very well indeed.

I actually think Llorente has been decent, he has had nothing to feed on, but he has been energetic and pressed well.

Has someone eaten Gattuso? What has he been doing since he stopped playing football, just pies all the way I think.

Very decent half of football from such a young side against what is a pretty strong Milan side.

I really hope the 433 we’ve seen in pre-season is an indicator of Poch finally entertaining it as a format going forward.

I’ve not always been a huge fan of Georgiou, but he’s looked much better than Nkoudou going forwards, he’s not a LB though.

Not ce to see Eyoma get some time in his best position- CB - and put in a decent 45, calm, composed and comfortable on the ball.

Loved the way the three tenacious little fuckers - Marsh, Skipp and Amos - came out and pressed Milan and dominated the game for 25 minutes.

Not a lot of winners out there tbh, but a few encouraging signs nonetheless given the team we put out.

Amos our best player that half imo and doing his chances of appearing against Newcastle no harm. Loved the press in midfield from he, Skipp and Marsh. Obviously tired as the half went on though and couldn't maintain. Tenacious little fuckers all three of them though.

Georgiou is excellent going forward but very poor defensively. Obviously it's not his natural position and he's up against a very good player so that's understandable/. I would genuinely rather see him play LW than GKN tbh. He's offered more threat from FB than GKN has in his Spurs career.

Eyoma pretty decent and Sanchez looking rusty. Meh, it's not a big deal.

KWP is pretty decent going forward, but once again that half has left me questioning his defensive quality when he's up against older and bigger men than those his own age just as I have in most of his other first team appearances. Needs to get stronger, and he also seems to too often be elsewhere than goal side of his man and doesn't have the recovery speed or power to make up for it.

Expected more from Lucas and Llorente as the senior players, but they've played every game so it's probably understandable if they're both a bit tired.

Funny you say this because there was a play where I was really impressed with his positioning because he was denying the inside. Ultimately Suso did get in but his positioning was higher and more deliberate that our 1st team LBs. And it was smart because Suso is too slow to get to the line and has zero right foot.

Going forward, absolutely. He's probably been our biggest threat.

But Suso has torn him to shreds the other way imo. Not a big deal though. I'd like to see Davies come on him replace GKN, moving Georgiou forward.

Little else between them though IMO. Others have 'seen' great quality that has been eluding my eyes. For the most part they are tidy but that ain't gettin it done.

I think part of it is that they're all similar types playing in the same midfield together. If one, or maybe two, of them were playing with other senior players in midfield I think they would look better, just as Amos has in the entire preseason and Skipp did against Barca.

Honestly don’t see what Poch sees in Georgiou that is better than Bennetts. Don’t get me wrong Georgiou is a decent player but his defensive positioning is awful, and when he goes forward he doesn’t really have a idea of that makes sense.
Bennetts was twice the player, but maybe Bennetts wanted first team football now and Georgiou is willing to be patient

Just nice to see us with some cm’s with a bit of vim and vigour, who press, win it and then move the ball quickly, unlike the turtle twins we usually have in there.

Reason we haven’t created much is the front 3 were atrocious in that first half. N’Koudou and the delux Brazilian Lennon just keep running into legs and the Spanish Crouch looks like he’s smoked some smack pre game.
