Fucking hell. Some folks need to pull up their Pampers.
I know it's a low level we're playing, but most of the first team aren't on the pitch and it's just a training game for all intents and purposes. I'm far more worried about players like Kane, Lloris, Dele, Trippier, Dembele and so on not being fit for the first PL game than this...and any new players too.

What exactly is our "B" team midfield at the moment? I couldn't even tell you with all the injuries, potential outgoings and players that haven't been training what our "A" team midfield is right now.

This might have been great experience for the youngsters, they impressed at chasing shadows for 90 minutes. Am sure we are well prepared for the premier league 2 or u23 league or whatever its called these days.

Yeah I know, tonight would have been the perfect time to have played all our new signings, doh!
Well I don’t know anymore than anyone else but a combination of selection tonight, several first teasers being missing and the rest still being on holiday makes me think we’re rather under baked.

The result today isn't worrying... A seriously under strength side is beaten comfortably by a full strength la liga outfit. The difference in physicality was evident to all, it was men vs boys, and you need enough men in your team to combat that.
However, we have a week to prepare a team to beat a decent Newcastle side, who won't be under strength and are defensively well organised, with a serious gamble in fielding about 9 players who were all playing in the later stages of the world cup.
That is worrying...
