Lyon about to lose to inter... If real win later then think that makes us champions of the ICC competition. ......some good news I guess

Well I don’t know anymore than anyone else but a combination of selection tonight, several first teasers being missing and the rest still being on holiday makes me think we’re rather under baked.

People are now blaming our club for our players getting so far in the World Cup. I feel like I'm in a Monty Python sketch on SC at the mo...
To be fair the club have known for almost a month - since Eng, Bel, and France won their QF - that this was going to happen. And it’s hardly a surprise that Lamela and Wanyama are injured again.

But Levy wants to shave some dollars off prices so doesn’t help his manger avoid would could be a catastrophic start to the season.

If Levy really cared about the club he would’ve blocked our players going to the World Cup so they could’ve been back to play in todays game ffs

Pochettino: Our best manager in generations comes out and says be brave go and get me a few players and early so I can work with them pre season. (Vital to get a few in with the World Cup burn out)

Levy: Too busy parking up Joe Lewis 200 foot Yacht

Arsenal top on alphabetical order I believe.

They are a point behind us. Don't look at the table on Google.

1 win - 3 points (PSG)
1 penalty win -2 points (Chelsea)
1 penalty loss - 1 point (athletico)

6 points.

I'm not panicking but we've got to get a quality CM in here by Thursday. No excuses from Levy. If we don't it's going to be a massive problem.

He would have stopped them from walking during the off season so they wouldn't stub their toes. Levy Out. Fucking ****

Rule number 854.5 found in Sector 7G of the International Champions Cup Rules and Guidelines textbook stipulates that:

* In the result of the teams placed 1st and 2nd in the standings being separated by alphabetical order, the winner will be determined by the number of players they have signed over the course of the summer transfer window.

Clearly not the clubs fault but it’s been reasonably foreseeable for 4/5 weeks now, we definitely could have soften the impact of them being missing.

We were poor tonight & if this is the team that goes into the first few games of the new season we'll be bottom at the end of Aug.

If we stopped lloris playing in the WC final, or Kane and others a chance to make the finals.... We might as well of sold them before they went to the world cup as they wouldn't want to play for us this season.

I'm not sure why people are surprised at a result like that.

Look at the team:

Eyoma - an ok prospect but I wouldn't say he looks the best promising centre back in the ranks. First taster of senior football.

Concrete boots Davies at centre back. Always likely to get left in his wake.

Georgiou - Only ever thought of as a (below) average prospect in the ranks.

Marsh - See Georgiou. First taster of senior football

Skipp - 17 years old. Another having his first taster.

Amos - See Marsh and Georgiou.

And then in amongst those we have for senior players fucktards like Aurier and Nkoudou, a decrepit Llorente, and Son who has seemingly played several million games already this year and club/country are going to ask him to do as many more again......

Those exhibition jamboree games and results in the States really did mean fuck all and I think got people excited for little reason. None of the teams are bothered and put zilch effort into them, they fill their pockets with dollars, pose for a picture and then gtfo out of there. Tonight, a La Liga side, in the comfort of home, wouldn't need much effort to beat such a forfeit of a side.

That result wont have any baring on next week. A good week of training now and we should have 12-15 senior players back in and a competitive team, win lose or draw. Amongst established players I even think if someone like an Amos does have to be called upon he could still fulfil a remit, irrespective of what happened tonight.
