I actually thought we could of got somthing out of this game. I know Chelsea are a great team but I just had a feeling we could beat them. I don't fear them as much a man u and again today we actually played well but did not get the decisions or no luck on or side. Yes Chelsea are a very good team, very organized, very good manager, so hard to break down etc but we could of been two nill up in the first few mins of the game. Thought Harry should of started kranjcar instead of the hudd.
We started of well, playing nice fooball from the start, the game was open and we had he best chances earlier in the first half really, defoe was ulucky think he missed hit the ball a bit but should of put it in the corner harder, and how close was Jenas? We was defending well, corluka made two great challenges on ballack and drogba i think it was and we looked like we wanted to win the game. They got there only shot on traget and scored it, admittedly it was a good cross but corluka should of deal with it better, don't think he saw cole too late.
2nd half we just could not get into it as much but still was trying to ball the ball. How the hell did we not get a pen? That was a clear penatly, clear f*king penatly. If we had got that decision i really things would of been different. Then they got that lucky 2nd goal, maybe cuddici could of done better, was bad defeding but again lucky. again there thirs goal was lucky, corluka again should of done a bit better but as we all know he is not the fastest player and how unlucky was he with his challenge?
Do not think we have played badly at all. Played well against man u and played well today but we just not quite good enough. Shame today.
Cuddicini-5 can't wait till gomes comes back. Could not do much for the goals maybe the 2nd goal he should of done a bit better,
ekotto-6 done ok, still think defensively he is not amazing.
king-7 thought he done well when he was on, shame he got injured
bassong-7 again done well shame he got injured
corluka-6 done well earlier on in the first half should of done better for the 1st and last goal but was a bit unlucky
lennon-6 looked lively in parts but could not do much.
hudd-5 done nothing
palacois-6 done ok, some good things,
jenas-6 thought he played well first half
defoe-5 done nothing, one chance and he did not score
