My main concern about signing Bony would come ACN time with him of playing for Ivory Coast and Ade off with Togo. Would leave 2 strikers short for 3 or 4 weeks!

No no no no no no.... Please for the love of spurs no....
He had one decent ish season in the epl. And would cost way too much money. Plus he's probably peaked this isn't good value

It would be a decent addition a goal scorer thats proved he can find the back of the net in this league.

At 18-20M, 25 yhs of age proven goal scorer in multiple leauge.....sign him up.

I would maybe be ok with 9m
But he still isn't good enough for top 4 team.
Between him and Ade. Ade wins for me everytime.
And I would almost be more inclined to pick Kane over him too. There's too much hype behind him for little reason other than an ok first season.

How could we buy him 9M£, 1 year after they bought him 12M£ ?
16 goals in his first PL season is a good number (it's not like there is a lot of strikers who score 20+ in the PL)

I'm not actually saying its possible to get him at that price, it was an example of how much we think he is being far over valued

9M is a silly quotation . Bony was bought for 12M then progressed in our league with goals from all ranges headers right left inside outside the box.

I wouldn't mind either Lukaku Benteke Bony (unknown
gamble) what these strikers have proved all are capable of leading the line.

I wouldn't worry. If Liverpool are in for him it's immaterial.

I have to agree a number of players have come to the epl and impressed... In recent years the same inflated values were thrown at brede hangeland and michu. I think it's unwise to buy these Enron, if you will, type players.

As we found out with Soldado strikers are almost always overpriced. If we want to bring one in we will not find any bargains out there. If Poch decides he can get the best out of Soldado and Ade and help Kane to progress that's fine.

I would say a new striker should fall below a left back, a central defender and a goalscoring wide player in our priority list.

we look to have already screwed up this transfer window we should have done our business before the world cup now Arsenal and Liverpool taking our targets .............really poor judgement by the board.. Not sure we have real ambition to be honest. Can`t see higher than 5th place if we don`t address the issues from last season. Bony would have been good but like Davies he will end up at Liverpool..

Ars or L'pool have not yet taken our so called targets and Poch really needs to assess the squad properly rather than rushing into risky transfers. This is the sensible approach.

Exactly. We do not need a massive overhaul again. We need stability. And we need a LB, CB before we need a striker.
I'm pretty sure Sanchez at £35M etc were not our targets and the only thing linking us with Llalana was the fact that he played under poch last season. I couldn't see leave spending that kind of money on a depreciating asset two years on a row...

This so much.
And I would be happy for lolverpool to spend 20 m on bony
The guy isn't worth it.
I would be annoyed by Davies going to them. But there are other lbs out there in other leagues who look good

Newspapers and bollocks more of. Spurs are preparing, chasing, interested in, considering, watching...all quote less and unverifiable.
Why would we wait for someone else to start bidding on someone we were interested in to spur us to action?
We go about our business quietly until there is an announcement.

Don't agree 'Doom'. Buying another L.B. is an absolute neccessity - Pochetto knows that - we should move for Davies right now.
I agree that another striker is a bit less of a priority, but Bony is a proven +15 goal scorer in the prem. and i.m.o. we should move for him as well.
Another solid C.B. and it's all done.
