It that easy due to visa issues
Strategically shouldn’t we form a relationship with a Spanish or Portuguese club where we can buy South American players and loan them until they qualify for a visa, sort of like City have with Girona ? Seems odd that Levy isn’t setting up a player trading operation like this.

I remember me and few others were wanting Spurs to go for him already 2 seasons back. Thus said, from his personal career point of view he certainly made a good move when he decided to join Bayer.

He's also obviously made the right decision to stay at Genk the last 2 seasons.

I have a sneaky feeling about this guy

He's on a long term contract (2022) and they don't need to sell. Noises coming out of Leverkusen are that, if a premier league team wants him now or in the summer, he won't come cheaper than Van Dijk

And he cost around £10M when he went to the EPL for the first time (from Celtic to Soto) ;)

Maybe bit late to the party but the player I'd really like us to sign is De Ligt.

Watched highlights of him and he looks solid.

If he can play DM also, could be the perfect replacement for Dier.

Why do we need a replacement for Dier?

Is it realistic to introduce the thought of Sergej Milinković-Savić, amidst all the Dembele talks?

If we’re back in the market for a “back up” striker soon, and it looks like we could be as Janssen may not come back, and captain slow hasn't exactly impressed this year, I still think Embolo is worth a punt.

He's still very green, but has some good raw materials to work with, he's robust, reasonably quick, technically pretty decent, works fucking hard off the ball, holds up reasonably well and brings players in, has an eye for goal but will set up for others too and having been out with injury and now being back up striker at Schalke, he won't exactly cost a kings ransom and should be content to be a rotation striker. If needs be, he can also play as a wide forward too, and is probably a better type to play with Kane when we need two strikers up there than the likes of Llorente.
